Publication number: 20080008274Abstract: A receiver for the CDMA system which reduces power consumption during a suspension period of intermittent receiving operation by monitoring a suspension period by a low-power timer so that a VC-TCXO, reference signal group generation and receiving units are turned off and a modem unit is set to a sleep state. Upon resumption of receiving operation, a high-accuracy timer is started to count a time period and part of a received signal is stored. A PN code phase of stored data is calculated during the time period to obtain an indication value for phase deviation. State vectors for short and long codes and a further reception time are calculated based on the indication value. When the high-accuracy timer counts the time period and produces 0V(d), demodulation operation by a rake demodulation, demultiplexing, and descrambler units is started and is continued during the reception time.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 18, 2007Publication date: January 10, 2008Inventors: Shigeyuki Sudo, Osamu Hasegawa, Toshiya Eguchi

Publication number: 20070256774Abstract: A method of and system for manufacturing a microstructure having high form accuracy and a manufacturing system is disclosed. On a rough motion stage having a predetermined positioning accuracy and a large stroke length, a fine motion stage having a small stroke length and a higher positioning accuracy is placed. First, the rough motion stage is moved to a desired position. By use of a mirror placed on a laser length measuring machine and the fine motion stage, the current position of a thin film member on the fine motion stage is precisely measured. This measurement value is feed-backed to a stage control device, and a difference between the current position and a target position is calculated by an error correcting unit. Thus, an error correcting instruction value is generated to move the fine motion stage to the target position. Thus, an error of the rough motion stage is corrected.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 18, 2007Publication date: November 8, 2007Inventors: Takeshi Tsuno, Takayuki Goto, Satoshi Tawara, Masato Kinouchi, Shin Asano, Osamu Hasegawa, Takayuki Yamada, Mutsuya Takahashi

Publication number: 20070043819Abstract: A mail server and mail terminals are connected through a radio communication network. The mail server makes viral infection decision of if e-mails are infected with computer virus without burdening the mail terminals having poor processing power. The mail terminals are constructed to serve as small-sized mail terminals. When an e-mail arrives at the mail server through the Internet, the mail server decides if the e-mail is infected with virus. The result of the viral infection decision is added as the whole or a part of inspection information within the header of the e-mail. The corresponding mail terminal can detect presence or absence of viral infection on the basis of the inspection information. When the e-mail is infected with virus, the mail terminal can inform a user of the contaminated e-mail by making tone of a buzzer or vibrator different from a normal e-mail.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 30, 2006Publication date: February 22, 2007Applicant: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Makoto Katagishi, Kenji Sano, Osamu Hasegawa

Publication number: 20060212907Abstract: In a cellular phone terminal, a bit error rate measurement section measures a bit error rate of broadcast data received by a broadcast reception section for receiving a digital broadcast to output broadcast data while a transmission operation of a communication transmission section for wirelessly communicating with a broadcasting communication network is performed. When the measured bit error rate is equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold, stopping of the transmission operation of the communication transmission section is instructed. Thus, a failure such as interruption of television broadcasting reproduction can preliminarily be prevented by avoiding error occurrence in reception of the 1 segment broadcasting service due to an influence of a transmission electric wave in data communication. As a result, stable reception of the 1 segment broadcasting service can be executed.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 21, 2006Publication date: September 21, 2006Applicant: Casio Hitachi Mobile Communications Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yasuhiro Akiyama, Koichi Hamada, Masahiro Kageyama, Osamu Hasegawa
