  • Patent number: 10422307
Abstract: An intercooler (5) is received in an intercooler receiving portion (6) of an intake manifold (1) leaving a given space therebetween and longitudinally opposed walls (10a, 10b) of the intercooler receiving portion (6) are formed with ribs (11) to increase a mechanical strength thereof, so that, even when a heat exchanging device (5a) of the intercooler (5) is set in the intercooler receiving portion (6) having longitudinally opposed walls thereof placed close to the longitudinally opposed walls (10a, 10b) of the intercooler receiving portion (6), undesired contact or interference between mutually opposed ones of the longitudinally opposed walls is suppressed permitting a larger amount of intake air flow through a major portion of the heat exchanging device (5a) thereby causing increased cooling efficiency of the intercooler (5).

  • Patent number: 9851220
Abstract: An assembly structure of a nonmagnetic member to which a position sensor arranged to to sense a rotation position of the rotation member, includes: a nonmagnetic member including a hollow portion; a cover which is fixed to an opening end portion of the hollow portion; and a retaining portion which is provided on an outer circumference portion of the hollow portion of the nonmagnetic member, and to which the position sensor is assembled from the opening end portion's side to be slid in a rotation axis direction, the cover restricting movements of the magnet holding portion and the position sensor in the rotation axis direction in a case where the cover is fixed to the nonmagnetic member in a state where the magnet holding portion and the position sensor are assembled to the nonmagnetic member.
