  • Patent number: 7245722
Abstract: A method and system for distributing a key is provided which make use of effects of noise caused at the time of transmitting or receiving a signal to send a key. A transmission signal is amplified at a plurality of stages while the relationship between the transmission signal and noise is being maintained at a level enough to satisfy predetermined criteria for security measures against eavesdropping activities, and the key is sent over a long distance. The aforementioned operation makes it possible to transmit or distribute a key over a long distance while maintaining the relationship between the transmission signal and noise at a level enough to satisfy the criteria for security measures against eavesdropping activities.

  • Patent number: 6739927
Abstract: A position of an inner surface of a panel (10) is measured with the panel being held, and a position of a main surface of a color selection electrode (30) is measured with a color selection electrode frame (40) being held, so that the measured positional data provide a measured value corresponding to a spacing between the panel inner surface and the main surface of the color selection electrode. In a state that the engaging holes of the supporting members are engaged with dummy pins (200) arranged in a predetermined positional relationship to the panel pins (20) on the condition that the panel is held, the position of the main surface of the color selection electrode is adjusted with respect to engaging holes on the basis of the predetermined positional relationship and the measured value, and supporting members are fixed by welding to the color selection electrode frame.

  • Patent number: 6231705
Abstract: A method for laminating boards includes placing boards with a narrow gap therebetween, inserting an adhesive injection nozzle the gap, discharging of adhesive from the nozzle into the gap so that the discharged adhesive makes into contact with the two boards, continuing discharging the adhesive while the boards are being rotated in a planar direction thereof so that the adhesive is placed in a loop within the gap, retreating the nozzle from the gap, and narrowing the gap between the boards so that the adhesive is spread throughout the gap.

  • Patent number: 6222603
Abstract: A method of manufacturing an LCD device, in which, a seal pattern is formed by applying a sealing material for enclosing a liquid crystal on one of a pair of substrates between which liquid crystal is sandwiched. Spacers are formed on the other substrate to determine a cell gap, then the substrates are respectively held by a pair of surface plates disposed in a vacuum chamber, in which at least one of the surface plates is movable. The air-pressure of the vacuum chamber is then decreased, and the alignment of a pair of substrates is performed and a cell gap is formed by pressing the substrates toward each other, by which the gap precision, the gap uniformity and the alignment precision of an LCD device can be improved.

  • Patent number: 6025012
Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus which is capable of discharging a process liquid to a rotating substrate at a very constant rate irrespective of variations in the state of the process liquid. A process liquid is discharged toward a rotating substrate by nozzles which are moved from inner to outer radius sides of the rotating substrate. The present invention further provides a method in which film thickness control conditions are determined based on a simulation of a behavior of a process liquid on a substrate.
