  • Patent number: 6084634
Abstract: An electronic imaging apparatus composed of a solid-state sensor element for converting an image focused by an optical system into image data. The apparatus is selectively operable in a first drive mode for reading at least a large number of pixels of image data out of the solid-state sensor element, and in a second drive mode for reading a second number of selected pixels of image data out of the solid-state sensor element, the second number being smaller than the large number and the selected pixels being suited for foreground scene recognition.

  • Patent number: 5917299
Abstract: A motor drive control device, comprises: a switch which operates a motor; a motor which raises and lowers a door glass; a pulse signal generating device which synchronizes with the rotation of the motor and generates a pulse signal; and a determining device which, in a case in which there is a predetermined difference between this pulse signal and a normal pulse signal which is generated by synchronizing with the rotation of said motor, determines that the pulse signal generating device is failed. Therefore, in a case in which it is determined that the pulse signal generating device is failed and the switch is operated so that the motor raises the door glass, raising of the door glass can be stopped.

  • Patent number: 5475114
Abstract: This invention relates to a pyrazolotriazole derivative represented by the general formula: ##STR1## wherein each symbol means as follows; R.sup.1, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 : one of them represents hydrogen, tetrazolylated biphenylmethyl or lower alkyl,R.sup.2 : hydrogen, tetrazolylated biphenylmethyl, cycloalkyl or lower alkyl, andR.sup.5 and R.sup.6 : these may be the same or different from each other, and each represents hydrogen, halogen, tetrazolylated biphenylmethyl, formyl, carboxyl, esterified carboxyl, cycloalkyl, lower alkoxy, lower alkoxycarbonyl, or lower alkyl which may be substituted with hydroxyl, formyl or carboxyl, provided that at least one of R.sup.1 to R.sup.6 is tetrazolylated biphenylmethyl, and the broken lines mean that the pyrazolotriazole ring forms three double bonds, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and to a process for the production thereof, wherein the above compound (I) is useful for treating various diseases caused by the physiological function of angiotensin II.
