    Abstract: An exposure control device of a camera comprises first metering means for effecting metering while dividing an object into a plurality of metering areas and for generating a first metering output determining the exposure of the entire object on the basis of a plurality of photoelectric outputs corresponding to said areas, second metering means for generating a second metering output corresponding to the object light passed through the aperture of a phototaking lens, first operational means for generating a first operation output including information on the difference between the first metering output and the second metering output, second operational means for synthesizing the second metering output during the stop-down of said aperture and the first operation output and generating a second operation output, and blocking means for blocking the stop-down when the second operation output and an output corresponding to a preset shutter speed assume a predetermined relation.

    Abstract: An electric wind-up device for driving a film feed mechanism in a camera after exposure comprises wind-up terminating means for detecting an increase in resistance in the film feed mechanism to stop rotation of a motor when the film has been wound up by one frame or completely drawn out of a magazine, and counter means for counting the exposed frames and generating a count signal when a predetermined number of frames are counted. The wind-up device further comprises means co-operating with the counter means for outputting a motor energizing signal after exposure. The co-operating means outputs the motor energizing signal even when the count signal is not energized.

The arrangement is provided with a controller periodically switched between a first control state and a second control state. The controller in the first control state allows the comparators to perform comparison in a first voltage range of the analog input voltage while in the second control state it allows the comparators to perform comparison in a second voltage range of the analog input voltage.There is provided an encoder for coding the digitalized output of the comparators with a first coding mode in the first control state of the controller and coding the digitalized output of the comparators with a second coding mode in the second control state. The encoder is adapted to drive the indicator with a first or second mode according to the state of the controller.
