  • Publication number: 20080213813
Abstract: To provide a novel apoptosis inducer, and a method of screening an apoptosis inducer. For example, an apoptosis inducer comprising inhibiting HDAC6 such as an antisense oligonucleotide to the gene of histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6), and anti-cancer agent comprising this apoptosis inducer, and the present invention also provides a method of screening an apoptosis inducer that inhibits HDAC6, and more specifically a method of screening an apoptosis inducer said method comprising the steps of (1) determining whether or not a test substance inhibits histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) by using deacetylation of an acetylated substance that can be a substrate for histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) or decrease in the expression of histone deacetylase 6 (HDAC6) as an index; and (2) confirming, when inhibition is present, whether it induces apoptosis of the cell in vitro and/or in vivo.

  • Publication number: 20070288816
Abstract: A semiconductor integrated circuit includes a logic circuit unit having a logic circuit and a first scan chain including a first scan chain to perform a scan chain for the logic circuit, and a memory unit having a memory, a BIST circuit, and a second scan chain to perform a scan test therefor. The two scan chains form a scan chain, and the first scan chain is disposed in an output side of the second scan chain. At a burn-in, along with setting the first scan chain to enable according to a scan enable signal, the second scan chain is set to disenable according to the scan enable signal and a memory test start signal, and stress is applied at the same time to the user logic circuit by a scan test and to the memory by a BIST.

  • Patent number: 6960400
Abstract: When power failure of a commercial power source is detected, an inverter interrupts power supply to a power line extending between the commercial power source and a load via a circuit breaker. Then the control mode of a load DC—DC converter is changed to a constant voltage control to maintain stable operation of a fuel cell. This allows the accessory DC—DC converter to supply power to accessories used for operating the fuel cell power generation system. Also, the quantity of city gas to be supplied to a reformer is changed to a quantity necessary for the fuel cell to generate power for driving the accessories. This makes it possible to avoid excessive production of hydrogen, thus improving energy efficiency of the fuel cell power generation system.

  • Publication number: 20030143447
Abstract: The power generation mode of fuel cells included in a fuel cells power generation system, the quantity of power generation by the fuel cells, the working power used for a load, the amount of hot water kept in a hot water tank, the time, the occurrence of an abnormality in the system, and a request for regular inspection are displayed on a display unit of an operation display panel as numerical values and stepwise-variable graphical expression representing variations in quantity. The user is accordingly informed of the current driving conditions of the system and the working power used for the load, and sets the power generation mode of the fuel cells based on these pieces of information. This enables the user to adequately and readily control the operations of the system.

  • Publication number: 20030139203
Abstract: A telephone directory database is established in a mobile phone terminal. When a calling operation is executed in the mobile phone terminal, data included in the telephone directory database is sent out into the data network. A server computer in the central office may receive the data. The received data is registered into a database for backup data in the server computer. The backup data for the telephone directory database is reliably prepared in the server computer in this manner. A user of the mobile phone terminal is allowed to easily reestablish the telephone directory database in a new mobile phone terminal based on the backup data.
