  • Patent number: 10850559
Abstract: A driving device for a carriage includes a motor, a speed reducer, and a mecanum wheel. The speed reducer decelerates the power input from the motor and outputs a decelerated power. The mecanum wheel is rotated by the decelerated power output from the speed reducer. The speed reducer includes a speed reducing unit, a carrier, and a case. The speed reducing unit receives the power from the motor. The carrier supports the speed reducing unit. The case is rotatable relative to the carrier. The mecanum wheel is fixed on the case or the carrier.

Abstract: A driving device for a carriage includes a motor, a speed reducer, and a first mecanum wheel and a second mecanum wheel. The speed reducer decelerates the rotation input from the motor and outputs decelerated rotation. The first and second mecanum wheels are arranged in the axial direction parallel to the rotation axis of the decelerated rotation output from the speed reducer and are rotated by the decelerated rotation output from the speed reducer. In the axial direction, the center of the speed reducer is positioned between an outer end of the first mecanum wheel opposite to the second mecanum wheel and an outer end of the second mecanum wheel opposite to the first mecanum wheel.

  • Patent number: 7415776
Abstract: A magnetic scale is disclosed wherein a magnetic member is protected with certainty to effectively enhance the durability. The magnetic scale includes a magnetic member provided between outside and inside pipe members and has magnetic graduations magnetized alternately with the N and S poles along the extending direction thereof. When the magnetic member and the inside pipe member are assembled in the outside pipe member, the inside pipe member contacts partly with an inner face of the outside pipe member and partly with a back face of the magnetic member in such a manner as to cover the overall back face. The outer face of the inside pipe member presses the back face of the magnetic member over the overall length so that the close contact face of the magnetic member is closely contacted with the inner face of the outside pipe member.

  • Patent number: 6119357
Abstract: A scale device 1 includes a base unit 2 comprised of an elongated casing 3 wherein an elongated thin-plate-like scale 4 is secured with the a mid portion of the thin-plate-like scale 4 kept in a floating state and a slider unit 10 slidable relative to the base unit 2. The slider unit 10 has a sensor 15 for detecting magnetic graduations recorded on the thin-plate-like scale 4. A reference sliding member 16 is provided for maintaining a constant separation between the sensor 15 and the recording surface of the magnetic graduations of the thin-plate-like scale 4. A pressing sliding member 17 is provided for pressing the reference sliding member 16 so that the recording surface of the magnetic graduations are perpetually contacted with the reference sliding member 16. A detection head unit 14 is movable telescopically relative to the thin-plate-like scale 4 in a direction along the width of the scale.

  • Patent number: 5635833
Abstract: A magnetic linear scaling device including a stationary base and a magnetic scale secured to the stationary base. The magnetic scale has a track including a detection area in which magnetic scale data is recorded. A magnetic head is so disposed as to be movable along the magnetic scale in an opposed relation thereto. The magnetic head detects the magnetic scale data recorded in the detection area of the track. A resin tape covers at least the detection area of the track to protect the magnetic scale data from being damaged. The resin tape has a first surface attached to the magnetic scale and a second surface opposed to the magnetic head.

  • Patent number: 5488782
Abstract: A scale plate arrangement is adapted to be attached to a machine tool for detecting, for example, position and velocity of an object. The scale plate arrangement includes a scale-plate base and a scale plate which has a scale thereon. The scale plate is welded to the scale-plate base. With this, it is not necessary to use an adhesive or a fixing member to attach the scale plate to the scale-plate base. In case that the scale plate has a magnetic scale and that the scale-plate base is made of a magnetic material, the scale-plate base is formed with a recess which is positioned under the magnetic scale. With this, magnetic influence of the scale-plate base on the magnetic scale can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 4447753
Abstract: The GT-cut quartz resonator resonated by two longitudinal modes and provided with the masses for frequency-temperature characteristics adjustment and frequency adjustment. The frequency-temperature characteristics and the frequency of the GT-cut quartz resonator are adjusted by eliminating the masses. Consequently, the quartz resonator adjusted to the normal frequency and having the excellent frequency-temperature characteristics is attained. Further the GT-cut quartz resonator of small and thin size is attained by making the resonant portion and the supporting portions in one piece by photolithographic technique.
