  • Publication number: 20140309039
Abstract: A front end server receives a request to start executing a game on at least one game server, the at least one game server being capable of executing at least one game, having an upper limit set to a total of amounts of resources that can be secured in executing at least one game, and executing a game as an object of execution when an amount of resources associated with the game as the object of execution can be secured. A management server starts a new game server when an amount of resources associated with the game according to the execution start request exceeds an amount of remaining resources that can be secured in each game server already started or being started at a time of receiving the execution start request. The management server makes one of the game servers execute the game according to the execution start request.

  • Publication number: 20040151320
Abstract: Contents are supplied from a studio to a plant through a CD-R disc. In the plant, when it is determined that the contents have not been encrypted in accordance with Info_Sheet, a module encrypts the contents with different keys. A key locker creating portion groups the plurality of keys with which the contents have been encrypted, encrypts grouped keys with a disc key, and creates a key locker. A disc image creating portion creates image data to be recorded on a product CD with contents of a first session and a second session and the key locker. In accordance with the image data, the CD is produced. Since keys with which contents have been encrypted are grouped and encrypted, the keys can be prevented from leaking out.

  • Patent number: 6081251
Abstract: An apparatus for managing picture data receives picture data representing a number of pictures at different times, generates a time code indicating the time of receipt of each picture, and stores the received picture data with a header that includes the time code. In order to retrieve selected pictures, retrieval parameter information is entered to indicate a selected time period, and the picture data that was received during the selected time period is retrieved. The apparatus also forms reduced size picture data for each received picture and stores the reduced size picture data in the header together with the time code for the corresponding picture. Upon retrieving selected ones of the stored pictures, the corresponding reduced size picture data is used to display simultaneously several reduced size pictures representing the pictures that have been retrieved.
