  • Patent number: 10107349
Abstract: A baffle plate (41, partition member) is manufactured by being integrally formed of a single material including flexible or pliable NBR (nitrile rubber), and a projection (51) formed on an abutment surface (42B) of the baffle plate (41) is fitted into a recess (52) in a reduced-diameter portion (36) of an intermediate tube (20). Thus, when the intermediate tube (20) fitted with the baffle plate (41) is assembled into an outer tube, the sheet-shaped baffle plate (41) can be prevented from rotating about a connecting pipe (23), and it is possible to improve the productivity and assembleability of the shock absorber.

  • Patent number: 9856939
Abstract: A shock absorber includes a reservoir between a cylinder and an outer tube, in which hydraulic liquid and gas are sealed; a middle tube between the cylinder and the outer tube; a connecting pipe in the lateral wall of the middle tube, which includes a tip end extending toward the outside of the outer tube; an opening in the outer tube, allowing hydraulic liquid to flow from the outside of the outer tube into the reservoir through the outer side of the connecting pipe; and a partition member in the reservoir, which includes a partition wall that configured to regulate hydraulic liquid's upward flow from the opening in the reservoir. The partition member is made of flexible resin or rubber, provided with a fitting hole, and fitted to the connecting pipe with interference with the connecting pipe inserted through the hole.

  • Publication number: 20050046187
Abstract: A pipe joint for the refrigeration cycle is disclosed. A female joint (20) has a fitting recess (24), and a male join (10) has a fitting protrusion (14) and a stepped portion (13). In the male joint (10) and the female joint (20), a backup ring (30) and an O-ring (31) are fitted adjacently to each other in the stepped portion. The fitting protrusion (14), the backup ring (30) and the O-ring (31) are fitted in a fitting recess (24). The O-ring (31) is formed of an elastic material having a high blister resistance to carbon dioxide refrigerant. The backup ring (30) is formed of a resin material having a smaller permeability coefficient than the O-ring (31) against the carbon dioxide refrigerant and plastically deformable under the pressure of the refrigerant imposed on the O-ring (31). The refrigerant leakage amount can thus be minimized.
