  • Publication number: 20240132943
Abstract: The microRNA detection level decreases when a microRNA-containing biological sample is preserved after being collected. Further, a relatively long period of time is required for dissolving a hydrochloride of a neutral amino acid, which is in the form of crystals, in water. Since a hydrochloride of a neutral amino acid is an acidic substance, and causes skin irritation and mucosal irritation, the handling of the hydrochloride requires safety precautions. The present invention provides a method of detecting a microRNA in a biological sample, the method including the steps of: mixing an acid with the biological sample, preserving the resulting mixture for a predetermined period of time, collecting the microRNA in the biological sample, and detecting the microRNA. Further, the present invention provides a homogeneous semi-solid composition composed of a hydrochloride of a neutral amino acid, water and an alcohol.

  • Patent number: 9926642
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to manufacture single crystals of high quality on an industrial production scale by preventing impurities from being mixed in single crystals when the single crystals are produced by the solvothermal method. A pressure vessel body 1, in which a supercritical state is maintained, is made of heat resistant alloy, a portion of the pressure vessel body is open, a corrosion-resistant mechanical lining 5 is provided on an inner face of the pressure vessel and on an entire outer circumferential edge of the opening, and the opening is sealed by an airtight mating face formed out of a corrosion-resistant mechanical lining, which is formed on the outer circumferential edge of the opening, and by an airtight mating face of the corrosion-resistant mechanical lining cover 6 on an inner face of the cover 3 through a corrosion-resistant gasket member.

  • Patent number: 9719927
Abstract: An excitation light source emits excitation light to a target sample. An image sensor includes pixels arranged one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally, and receives measurement light from the sample according to the excitation light. A polarization selector arranged between the sample and image sensor includes pixels arranged one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally. Each pixel receives a corresponding portion of the measurement light, selects light having a polarization direction that corresponds to a driving signal applied to the pixels, and supplies this light to the image sensor. A measurement control unit supplies the cyclic driving signal having a first period T1, and acquires data I1, I2, I3, and I4 from each pixel of the image sensor for each exposure time segment T2=T1/4 obtained by dividing the first period T1 by 4.
