    Abstract: An intake apparatus for an internal combustion engine includes a plurality of branch pipes connected at downstream ends thereof to an engine main body, an intake chamber to which upstream ends of the branch pipes are connected, and a common intake air introducing part connected to the center of the intake chamber in a cylinder arrangement direction. The intake chamber includes a projecting part projecting toward the engine main body relative to the common intake air introducing part. An EGR introducing passage is connected to the center of the projecting part in the cylinder arrangement direction. A downstream end of the EGR introducing passage is directed toward a wall of the projecting part on the common intake air introducing part side.

    Abstract: A sidewall supports, in a cantilever state, a sheet holding shaft for holding a label sheet wound in a roll shape and positions a first end face, which is one end face, of the label sheet inserted over the sheet holding shaft. A roll paper holding mechanism that presses a second end face, which is the other end face, of the label sheet, has a first arm, a second arm, and a spring. The first arm projects from the sidewall and rotatably supports the second arm at an end thereof. The spring connects the first arm and the second arm and urges and pulls the second arm. The second arm comes into contact with the second end face of the label sheet in a process of being pulled to rotate and holds the label sheet in conjunction with the sidewall functioning as a reference plane.

When intake air is heated, a throttle valve may be closed, the air pump may be started, and electrical power may be supplied to the air heater. The air flowing from the intake chamber may be heated by the air heater. Thereafter, the air may flow from the delivery pipe into branch pipes and circulate to the intake chamber. At that time, since the throttle valve may be closed, and an intake valve or an exhaust valve of an engine may be closed, the heated air may not flow out and the air temperature in the intake manifold and the intake air heating apparatus may increase.
