  • Patent number: 10095246
Abstract: A pressure estimator, based on information acquired by an acquirer and model information that includes connection information of nodes in a water distribution pipeline network, estimates water pressure at at least one part of the nodes in the water distribution pipeline network. An extractor extracts a minimum water pressure value from a plurality of water pressures that include the water pressure estimated by the pressure estimator. A controller controls an adjustor to adjust at least one of a water pressure and a flow rate of water flowing into the water distribution pipeline network, based on a minimum water pressure value extracted by the extractor.

  • Publication number: 20180209124
Abstract: A water leakage diagnosis device in an embodiment includes a total water leakage amount acquirer, a node water usage amount acquirer, a node water leakage amount estimator, an estimation parameter setting unit, and a water leakage location estimator. The total water leakage amount acquirer acquires a total water leakage amount in a pipe line network on the basis of an amount of water flowing into a pipe line network and an amount of water used by a customer in the pipe line network. The node water usage amount acquirer acquires a node water usage amount indicating a total amount of an amount of water to be used at each node in the pipe line network. The node water leakage amount estimator estimates the node water leakage amount a plurality of times on the basis of the total water leakage amount, the node water usage amount, and an estimation parameter.

  • Patent number: 7029156
Abstract: An opposed reflecting mirror is provided so as to face a light source. The opposed reflecting mirror is configured to reflect light rays, emitted from the light source, so as to allow the reflected light rays to advance in a predetermined direction. A light guide body having a plurality of reflecting surfaces is provided to permit the incidence of light rays supplied from the opposed reflecting mirror and to reflect the incident light rays. The plurality of reflecting surfaces are located at different positions in a sliding split manner along the direction of light rays supplied from the opposed reflecting mirror. By virtue of this construction, a light emitting apparatus can be provided in which, while making the best use of a feature of LED, i.e., a small thickness, impressive illumination of an elongated shape by one light emitting device and high external emission efficiency can be realized.

  • Patent number: 6893134
Abstract: A planar light emitting device has a planar light emitter. It has a layered structure composed of a transparent body and a semi-transparent body. The transparent body is made of a transparent synthetic resin containing no light scattering material. The semi-transparent body is made of a semi-transparent synthetic resin containing a light scattering material. The transparent body and the semi-transparent body are joined to form a diffusion layer therebetween. An LED array is disposed at one side of the planar light emitter. The diffusion layer has a sea-islands structure. An island resin has a dimension of 0.1 to 50 microns. The light entering the island resin attenuates therein without reflecting at once due to its complicated shape. Namely, the light entering the diffusion layer generates uniform brightness.
