  • Patent number: 7778625
Abstract: An operation-mode control unit controls switching of an operation mode of a portable wireless terminal apparatus between a normal mode and an alarm mode. An alarm-data sending unit sends data pertaining to a situation of a user to a predetermined destination as alarm data, when the operation mode is switched to the alarm mode. In the normal mode, the portable wireless terminal apparatus performs normal functions, such as a phone call and an e-mail. In the alarm mode, the portable wireless terminal apparatus performs a user protecting function in addition to the normal functions, such as sending the alarm data to the predetermined destination.

  • Publication number: 20060211433
Abstract: The present invention provides a portable electronic apparatus such as a portable telephone, which improves safety in a situation where the apparatus is left behind. The portable electronic apparatus includes: a storing section that stores a pair of designated time and designated position; a time obtaining section that obtains a current time; a position obtaining section that obtains a current position; a determination section that determines whether there is a match or a mismatch between the current position at the current time reaching the designated time and the designated position that is paired with the designated time; and a mismatch processing section that performs mismatch processing in response to a mismatch determined by the determination section as a determination result.

  • Patent number: 5094982
Abstract: A lead frame includes an outside frame portion having an central opening, and a rectangular mount portion supported by the outside frame portion and disposed within the central opening, and on which an electronic element is adapted to be mounted. The lead frame also includes at least one lead element array disposed along a side of the mount portion, respectively, the lead elements included in the array being connected to each other by a common tie bar element, and at least two expandable tie bar elements extending between the outside frame portion and each of the lead element arrays to support each lead element array by the outside frame portion, each of the expandable tie bar elements including a shaped portion which can be expanded by a deformation thereof. In a method of producing an electronic component using the lead frame, a process of bending the lead elements is performed before an electrolytic-plating process thereof.

  • Patent number: 5043199
Abstract: The present invention provides a resin tablet for plastic encapsulation molding by the transfer molding process. A tablet body is obtained by compressing powdered thermosetting resin and is covered by a covering membrane. A method of manufacturing a plastic encapsulation using such a resin tablet includes exposing the surface of tablet body by breaking the covering membrane in a pot and pressing the thermosetting resin of exposed tablet body with the plunger for encapsulated molding.

  • Patent number: 4459647
Abstract: A shadow-free lamp assembly comprises a plurality of plane mirror segments disposed on a basic paraboloidal reflecting surface, and a linear light source. Each of the plane mirror segments has a length of the short span of the paraboloidal reflecting surface as its long side and is continuously disposed next to each other along the long span of the paraboloidal reflecting surface and the light source is disposed in reflecting direction forward from the focus of the paraboloidal reflecting surface, whereby all mirror segments reflect light from the light source to produce irradiation patterns illuminating the single illumination area. Because of the overlapped illumination by the plurality of the mirror segments, shadow is not produced on the illumination area when reflected light is partially intercepted.
