  • Patent number: 9753594
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a capacitive operation device includes the steps of: preparing a capacitance sensing member including a base film, a sensing electrode formed on the base film, a cover film, and an adhesive layer; preparing an operation panel having a recessed portion having a shape that overlaps an outer edge of the sensing electrode in a stacking direction of the operation panel and the capacitance sensing member; disposing the operation panel and the capacitance sensing member so as to face each other; and bonding the capacitance sensing member to the back surface of the operation panel by pressing the capacitance sensing member against the back surface of the operation panel. In the bonding step, the capacitance sensing member and the operation panel are bonded together while a gas therebetween is being directed to the recessed portion.

  • Patent number: 8237686
Abstract: A selecting operation and a setting operation for setup items shown on a display are performed with using a selection change switch that can in steps rotate to three positions indicated by marks and a dial switch that is stacked on the selection change switch. The display shows three setup items at three locations. In a case that the selection change switch is rotated and a tip portion of the selection change switch indicates a position, it is thought that the selection operation is performed to select a setup item shown at a location corresponding to the indicated position. Then, the setting operation for the selected setup item is performed by rotating the dial switch. When the selection change switch has pivoted toward near side or far side, a window to be shown at the foreground is changed on the display.

  • Patent number: 8164009
Abstract: A control knob capable of operating multiple systems has a first rotational body and a second rotational body coaxially arranged, and a shaft connected to the second rotational body. Opposite the shaft, a movable body is moved axially in response to rotation of the first rotational body. Engaging units have concaves or convexes, for example, similar to teeth. The engaging units are provided on the shaft or the movable body. An engaged unit is elastically biased toward one of the engaging units, and engages the concaves or convexes. In use, the control knob may be configured to permit selection of a function by rotation of the first rotational body, and to permit adjustment of the function by rotation of the second rotational body.

  • Patent number: 8115810
Abstract: A vehicle-periphery viewing apparatus comprises an imaging device, an electronic control unit, and a display device. The imaging device captures an image of a surrounding area of the vehicle and comprises a field of view larger in a horizontal direction than in a vertical direction. An electronic control unit comprises: a mask image storage section: and a photomontage section merging a video captured by the imaging device and the mask image read from the mask image storage section, to generate a merged video. The mask image comprises: an upper mask displayed along an upper side of the display screen; and a lower mask displayed along a lower side of the display screen; and an interval between the upper mask and the lower mask in a first direction, becomes narrower toward a center area and wider toward both ends in a second direction.

  • Patent number: 7813639
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to mount a focusing mechanism of a camera device on a vehicle without bringing the mechanism in contact with a worker's hands in an in-focus state of a lens system in the camera device having an eyelid part for preventing stray light covering part of a lens, and to improve the beauty and increase mounting flexibility. In a camera cover according to the present invention, a cylinder body (21) of the camera cover (10) covers most including the first half portion of the volume of the camera device, and the cylinder body (21), a frame body (23), an eyelid part (25) and/or an eyelid part (26), and a housing part (27) are integrally molded. Beauty seen from the front can be improved, and the beauty will not be spoiled when the camera device (12) is displaced together with the camera cover (10) and mounted.

  • Publication number: 20100140059
Abstract: A mode switching switch and a dial switch are coaxially provided. A spring member is fixed to a linkage unit of the dial switch. The linkage unit is inserted through a click number change member, which has a cylinder unit and a shaft. The shaft is inserted into a guide groove formed on a cylinder unit of the mode switching switch. By the rotation of the mode switching switch, the click number change member is moved in the axial direction. On the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder unit of the click number change member, two click surfaces on which the different numbers of concaves or convexes are formed in the circumferential direction are aligned in the axial direction. By the movement in the axial direction of the click number change member, any one of the click surfaces is engaged with the spring member.
