Abstract: Iterative techniques for successfully sending large electronic messages are provided. In one aspect, a method of sending an electronic message is provided. The method includes the steps of: transmitting the electronic message from a sender to a recipient, wherein a size of the electronic message exceeds an electronic message size limit for the recipient; receiving a message from the recipient that the size of the electronic message exceeds the electronic message size limit for the recipient; automatically dividing the electronic message into at least two segments; and transmitting the at least two segments to the recipient. Additionally, the recipient's preferences for receiving large electronic messages from the sender may also be taken into account.

Abstract: A method for controlling a charging process of a battery-operated device includes connecting the battery-operated device to a charger device to start the charging process, sending a first signal from the battery-operated device to the charger device in response to a charge level of a battery in the battery-operated device being below a first threshold, continuing the charging process until the charge level of the battery is above a second threshold, and sending a second signal from the battery-operated device to the charger device to stop the charging process in response to the charge level of the battery being above the second threshold.

A chat window within an instant messaging application with the instant messaging contact is initially opened. The chat window is associated with the instant messaging contact. The instant messaging application then identifies whether the instant messaging contact is listed in a contact list. If the instant messaging contact is listed in a contact list of the instant messaging application, a default language dictionary that is associated with the instant messaging contact is loaded. The default language dictionary is one of a plurality of language dictionaries for languages that can be implemented within the instant messaging application.

Abstract: A pneumatic shock absorber for use in a suspension has a cylinder and a piston with a piston stem mounted in the cylinder for reciprocation, the piston stem and the cylinder being connected to different relatively movable parts of the suspension. A communication is established between the two chambers which the piston separates in the housing, which communication is controlled so as to determine the rate of flow of the pneumatic medium therethrough and thus the extent and speed of reciprocation of the piston relative to the housing. A valve arrangement controls the pressure of the pneumatic medium in the interior of the housing.
