  • Patent number: 5379261
Abstract: A method and circuit improves the timing of a static column mode device by extending the valid write time to be equal to the write time in a fast page mode device. In particular, the circuit extends the global write enable signal and maintains the address in the address latch to increase the valid write time. Also, the circuit of the present invention improves the noise margin in the static column mode device by decoupling the write enable and column address strobe signals after they are initially received to ignore any noise in those signals. A timer is used.

  • Patent number: 5373470
Abstract: A method and circuit for configuring I/O devices, such as a DRAM or other memory device, uses master-slave buffer circuits in configurable I/O devices. When arranged in a master-slave arrangement, the slave data buffer is adapted to receive both input data and the output of an associated master circuit. In one configuration, each data buffer outputs data based upon the input data. In another configuration, each slave buffer outputs the output of an associated master buffer. The circuit of the present invention is preferably employed with a configurable I/O device incorporated in a lead-on-chip (LOC) package, although could be used in any configurable I/O device.

  • Patent number: 4426821
Abstract: A structural element in rectangular form folded along its longitudinal center forming a truss element in triangular faced polyhedrals when end edges of the structured element are connected to the corresponding adjacent, respective, end edges of like structural elements in an assembled polyhedral. The fold in the structural element assumes a dihedral angle well under 180.degree., approximating 110.degree., with the truss element used in forming a four triangular faced tetrahedron, 90.degree. with the truss element used in a cube, although this is an unstable structure in not presenting the structural shape integrity attained inherently with truss elements used in triangularly faced polyhedrals. Further, the structural element assumes a dihedral angle approximating 75.degree. with the truss element used in forming an eight triangular faced octahedron, and approximately a 42.degree. fold in the truss elements forming a twenty triangular faced icosahedron.

  • Patent number: 4082071
Abstract: A vapor filter cartridge for use in a volumetrically controlled crankcase ventilation system, which utilizes a cylindrical frame of expanded metal surrounded by a vapor filter cloth. The bottom end of the cylinder is sealed by a shallow cup type closure, having a central opening. The closure is attached and sealed and attached to the cylindrical wall by means of a thermosetting rubber-like material. A support flange is provided of molded thermosetting rubber-like material which is molded to the second end of the cylindrical frame. The flange serves as a structural member to support the cartridge. Also, because of its compliant nature, it serves as a sealing gasket between the support and cover structure of the ventilation device, and the top edge of a jar which is used to catch the liquid and larger particles which are carried into the jar from the crankcase space of the engine.
