Abstract: A dosing device for supplying a gas, preferably oxygen, to a breathing person under physical strain and/or during recovery from physical strain, which dosing device is portable, and includes: a gas conduit comprising a connector configured to connect to a gas supply, a gas nozzle adapted to be held in front of the mouth and/or nose of the breathing person; a breathing cycle detector configured to detect the occurrence of inhalation and/or exhalation phase and exhalation phase in the breathing cycle; a gas flow controller, and a control unit configured to control the gas dosage supplied to the person dependent on values obtained from the breathing cycle detector, so that gas is supplied during the inhalation phase of the breathing cycle at a point in time and for a time period.

Abstract: The invention relates to a medical device for producing oxygen, wherein the device comprises means for providing first conditions, and means for changing said first conditions to second conditions, the device being configured to during a charging phase extract oxygen from air by, under said first conditions, bringing said air (A) into contact with an agent (SfF) constituted by a reversibly oxygen-fixating agent, i.e. an oxygen selective material, such that the oxygen of the air is adsorbed by said agent, and to remove nitrogen under said first conditions, and configured to during a discharging phase release the oxygen from the agent by means of changing said first conditions to said second conditions. The invention also relates to a method for producing oxygen for individual medical purposes.

Abstract: A rechargeable breathing apparatus is disclosed including a closed breathing system for receiving exhaled air containing a CO2 adsorber for the inhaled air, a breathing bellows for receiving the inhaled air and delivery of the breathing air, and an oxygen accumulator connected to the breathing bellows and containing a reversably oxygen fixating agent and being rechargeable by bringing that agent into reaction with oxygen or air so that oxygen is fixated thereto. In one apparatus there is included a pressurized gas container and a hydrostatic valve for cooperation between the breathing bellows and the pressurized gas container.
