    Abstract: Glycoenzymes are immobilized by oxidizing a carbohydrate portion of the enzyme to a carbonyl group or a precursor thereof and reacting the resultant carbonyl group on the enzyme with an amino group of an amino-containing water insoluble polymer to produce a water insoluble conjugate. This method avoids loss of enzyme activity as a result of the carbohydrate portion of the enzyme which is catalytically inert being utilized in preparing the water-insoluble conjugate.
