  • Patent number: 11544488
Abstract: A nonwoven is provided having a pattern displaying at least two groups of areas having different optical properties distinguishable to reading and decoding equipment. The pattern may be arise from differences in the microstructure of the web. The nonwoven material may have an embossed pattern having a basic, static component and a dynamic component which varies within a given length of the nonwoven web. Further, a method is provided for obtaining information from a nonwoven web, comprising observing the web surface using an optical reading device, collecting data based on differences in optical properties in the web surface, storing in a digital memory a pattern based on the collected data and comparing the stored pattern to a collection of previously stored patterns.

  • Publication number: 20220414902
Abstract: A method for identifying authenticity of an object, the method includes maintaining, in an identification server system, a reference image of an original object, the reference image and provided to represent all equivalent original objects, receiving, in the identification server system, one or more input images of the object to be identified, and generating, by the identification server system, a target image from the one or more input images. The method further includes aligning, by the identification server system, the target image with the reference image and analysing, by the identification server system, the target image in relation to the aligned reference image for identifying authenticity of the object.

  • Publication number: 20210374476
Abstract: A method and system for identifying authenticity of an object with a user device. The method includes steps of: providing a reference identification algorithm generated from reference image data of an original object in an identification server; receiving one or more target image of the object to the identification server from the user device over a communication network; automatically processing the one or more target images with the reference identification algorithm generated from the reference image data of the object; automatically generating an authenticity identification output in the identification server; and automatically sending an authenticity identification response based on the authenticity identification output from the identification server to the user device.
