    Abstract: A fastening system is disclosed. The fastening system includes a device rail, a holding element mountable on the device rail, and a supporting structure, where the supporting structure defines an opening and includes a gripping surface, and where the opening is an end of an interior space enclosed by the supporting structure. The holding element is insertable into the opening of the supporting structure and, in a back-locking position, the gripping surface grips the holding element.
