Abstract: An improved apparatus for carrying out devitalizations and root canal treatments in teeth by means of the use of liquid chemical substances comprises the following steps: putting the pulp chamber and the relevant root canals under vacuum by means of a vacuum vessel; and selectively feeding, in succession, into the pulp chamber and the root canals liquid chemical substances, which are contained inside respective containers under atmospheric pressure; the substances are then drawn into said vacuum vessel. The so treated tooth is then sealed by sucking a sealing paste-like substance into it.

Abstract: An utensil for mounting a tool on the chuck of a dentist's drill and for removing the tool for replacement is provided, which consists of a U-shaped frame, one web of which supports a rotatable and axially shiftable spring biased wrench section, the other web carrying a chuck-clamping array of projections and a resting reference plane, the wrench section engaging a correspondingly headed screw which fastens a drill tool to the drill shank and releases the tool when the screw is released.

Abstract: A dental bur drill of the type including a tubular handpiece traversed by at least one conduit for delivering compressed air to a rotor which is mounted at an extreme end portion of said handpiece and to the bearing-mounted rotating shaft to which a bur is fitted, wherein the handpiece incorporates a lube-oil container provided with an injection nozzle protruding within a delivery conduit, which conduit communicates with the container at a point upstream of the nozzle.
