Abstract: A human implant arrangement for permanently constricting a human tissue structure in a longitudinal direction. The human implant arrangement includes a longitudinal first anchoring part having lateral self-anchoring elements which have a first longitudinal anchoring orientation, a connection part which does not have anchoring elements, and a longitudinal second anchoring part which is connected in a longitudinal orientation to the longitudinal first anchoring part via the connection part. The longitudinal second anchoring part has lateral self-anchoring elements which have a second longitudinal anchoring orientation which is reverse to the first longitudinal anchoring orientation. A total length of the human implant arrangement is not larger than 40 mm.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an injectable composition which comprises polymeric, water-insoluble, non-biodegradable, anionic particles, these particles having an irregular shape and a biocompatible carrier with a lubricated surface, a method for preparing the same, a method for treating a tissue in a patient which comprises injecting into the tissue site the injectable composition as a permanent implant and the use of the injectable composition as a medicament, particularly for bulking a tissue site.

Abstract: This application relates to a sling for treatment of urinary incontinence. The sling includes arms having a series of three-dimensional subunits that are shaped and sized such that, when implanted in the human body, the sling is held more securely in the intended location than a sling that is held in place solely by sutures. The application is also directed to a surgical kit containing at least one sling and at least one instrument for implanting the sling.

Abstract: An implant and method for treating both stress urinary incontinence and anterior vaginal wall prolapse. The implant includes a central body having a central longitudinal axis and including a central base, two lateral supporting parts positioned on each side of the central base in regard to the central longitudinal axis, two inferior tapes extending laterally outward from the two lateral supporting parts, and two superior tapes extending laterally outward from each side of the central body. The inferior and superior tapes are oriented in the direction of the front of the implant, the inferior tapes configured to support the bladder and the superior tapes to correct stress urinary incontinence.
