Abstract: A multi-phase Medium Voltage Contactor (100) comprising: for each phase, a fixed contact (103) and a movable contact (104) positionable between an open position, in which it is operatively disconnected from the fixed contact (103), and a closed position in which it is operatively connected to the fixed contact (103); an electromagnetic actuator (10) operatively connected to the movable contact (104) and positionable between a first open position corresponding to the open position of the movable contacts (104), and a second closed position corresponding to the closed position of the movable contacts (104); a manual opening device (20) operatively connected to the electromagnetic actuator.

Abstract: A medium voltage switching device includes an electromagnetic actuation chain and a power supply which provides electric power to the electromagnetic actuation chain. The power supply includes at least a first power supply device which is electrically connected to a medium voltage power distribution line, so as to drain electric power directly from the distribution line, and a second circuit configured to store at least the electric energy drained from the medium voltage power distribution line, and to thereby provide the electromagnetic actuation chain with electric power.

Abstract: A medium voltage switching device comprising an electromagnetic actuation chain and power supply means for providing electric power to said electromagnetic actuation chain. The power supply means comprise at least a first power supply device which is electrically connected to a medium voltage power distribution line, so as to drain electric power directly from it, and second circuit means for storing at least the electric energy drained for the medium voltage power distribution line, and for providing said electromagnetic actuation chain with a power supply.
