  • Patent number: 10538176
Abstract: A method and system manages a load supplied by a converter that is supplied by a battery including modules that can be switched, a capacitor being placed between the battery and the converter. The method includes detecting a switching command, supplying, via the converter, a lower power to the load when the switching command is detected, carrying out the switching, and supplying, via the converter, a normal power to the load when the switching is carried out.

  • Patent number: 10425014
Abstract: An AC/DC converter including: an H bridge; an inductance in series with an input of the bridge; an inductance in series with an output of the bridge; and a circuit capable of controlling the bridge alternately to a first configuration where first and second diagonals of the bridge are respectively conductive and non-conductive, and to a second complementary configuration, the circuit being capable, during a phase of transition between the first and second configurations, of: turning on a first switch of the second diagonal; turning off a first switch of the first diagonal when the current flowing through this switch takes a zero value; turning on the second switch of the second diagonal; and turning off the second switch of the first diagonal when the current flowing through this switch takes a zero value.

  • Patent number: 10250158
Abstract: An AC/DC conversion circuit, including: four bidirectional switches forming an H bridge; a capacitor connected between input nodes of the bridge; a capacitor connected between output nodes of the bridge; and a control circuit capable of controlling the bridge alternately to a first configuration where first and second diagonals of the bridge are respectively conductive and non-conductive, and to a second configuration where the first and second diagonals are respectively non-conductive and conductive, the control circuit being capable, during a phase of transition between the first and second configurations, of: turning off the switches of the first diagonal; and for each switch of the second diagonal, turning on the switch only when the voltage thereacross takes a zero value.

  • Patent number: 10172201
Abstract: An electronic converter allows a power transfer from an AC voltage source, connected between an input terminal and a common terminal, to a load connected between an output terminal and a reference terminal, the AC voltage including positive alternations interspersed with negative alternations at a first frequency. The converter includes an input inductance connected to the input terminal; an output inductance connected to the output terminal; a storage capacitor between the inductances; a chopper circuit that: in a first state, charges the input inductance via the AC voltage source and discharges the storage capacitance in the output inductance by supplying the load; in a second state, discharges the input inductance in the storage capacitance and discharges the output inductance by supplying the load; and a device for controlling the chopper circuit to activate, during each alternations, consecutive operating cycles at a second frequency higher than the first frequency.
