  • Publication number: 20050087109
Abstract: The lockable container (10) with two shell-like parts (20, 30) for protecting an object against theft is provided with a [locking mechanism?], which comprises a bolt (50) that can move between an unlocked position and a locked position, as well as contours (27, 37, 38) in both parts, which protect the bolt from dropping out in one of the two parts (30) when the container is open and interact with the bolt in the locked position when the container is closed and prevent an opening of the container. The bolt is secured in the locked position against moving into the open position by a securement (60), which can be released from the outside only with the help of a special tool. According to the invention, the contours in both parts comprise very shape-stable eyelets (27, 37), which when the container is closed are at least pairwise bearing against each other and mutually overlapping, and in which the bolt engages in the locked position.

  • Patent number: 6336554
Abstract: A lockable tamperproof box for retailing a product which requires a special tool to unlock, whereby a rear part of a locking device is pushed into a lock-in position when the product is inserted into an insertion aperture in the box in the direction of insertion and whereby a front part of locking device is equipped with a locking element for the insertion aperture, comprises the front part having the form of a sheath, and rear part having the form of a rod, wherein the rear part engages in a cam follower of the front part by means of a catch cam, and the front part is rotated about the direction of insertion by forced coupling with the rear part into a position with the locking element in the insertion aperture when the product is inserted.

  • Patent number: 5209086
Abstract: An anti-theft apparatus includes a bracket-shaped auxiliary member which is displaceably guided longitudinally along a narrow side of a casing and has ends which are bent inwardly in order to clamp a box-like article. When the bracket is in its slid out position relative to the casing, its outer end can be bent in an elastic manner to enable removal or insertion of the article, and the inner end of the bracket has a locking lug which also projects inwardly to snap into a locking slot at the narrow side of the casing opposite of the slide-in opening when the bracket is completely inserted into the casing. The locking lug can be released out of this position only by use of a special tool.

  • Patent number: 5039982
Abstract: The casing serving as a safeguard against burglary for tape recording cassette containers is made of a plastic material and includes in the narrow wall opposite of the insertion opening a perforation of the wall close to an edge and extending at its center substantially at the level of the angularly adjacent inner surface of the casing into the casing. Two locking bodies arranged adjacent of each other and integrally connected by a base disk and having a hook-like broadened and thereafter wedge-like sharpened end section are inserted into the perforation. The hinged lid of the tape recorder cassette container is kept somewhat depressed by the hook-like broadened end section which end section simultaneously engages over the adjacent side wall of the contained wherewith the container of the cassette and the casing are interlocked. In order to unlock the connection the interconnection between the locking bodies and the base disk resting against the outside of the casing is ruptured by means of a special tool.
