Abstract: A separating agent metering device (30) contains a separating agent feed roller (1) which rolls tangentially against the fuser roller (8). In doing so, separating agent from the inside of the separating agent feed roller (1) which has passed to the surface is transferred to the fuser roller (8). The separating agent feed roller (1) contains a carrier tube (6), which is rotatably mounted on a separating agent metering tube (5), and an applicator roller (7) which is arranged on said carrier tube so as to be exchangeable. The applicator roller (7), which contains an applicator sleeve (4) with a layer of material (13) which is permeable to the separating agent attached thereto, can be slid axially over the carrier tube (6).

Abstract: A printer (1) comprises a printer frame (10), which is pivotally mounted in a holding device (110) of a trough-shaped housing base (10), and, in an operating position, is arranged on a support (111) arranged in the trough-shaped housing base (11). For assembly and maintenance work of the printer (1), a pivotally mounted housing flap (15) is provided, which supports the printer frame (10) in an assembly and maintenance position. In the assembly and maintenance position of the printer frame (10), circuit boards (12) which are releasably attached to the printer frame (10) and pivotally arranged in a hinged joint (13) can also be pivoted away from the printer frame (10) for repair and maintenance work.

Abstract: An interchangeable stuffing cassette for a cassette acceptance means of a typewriter or printer, has a stuffing space and a ribbon which is transported out of and into the stuffing space by means of an external drive. Outside of the cassette acceptance means, the stuffing space is closed by a flap. A slot by means of which the ribbon is stretched tight is situated in the flap. Upon insertion into the cassette acceptance means, the flap is pivoted to the side, whereby the stuffing space is opened and the ribbon is released.

Abstract: For use in a printing machine, such as an office typewriter, employing a replaceable printing head to be mounted on a carriage, there is provided a printing head fastening arrangement for releasably clamping the printing head to the carriage and permitting adjustable spacing of the printing head relative to the cooperating print support for containing the recording medium. The inventive arrangement enables the fastening and adjustment function to be integrated such that both functions can be carried out in one step. To this end, a rotatable pin is disposed upstanding from the carriage and provided with an operating element, which is resiliently seated relative to the printing head, for selectively engaging against a support surface formed on the printing head to clamp the printing head against the carriage.
