  • Publication number: 20210408700
Abstract: A method for creating electrical contact between a first superconductive strip conductor and a further electrical conductor element, wherein the first superconductive strip conductor is placed in flat contact against a first main surface of a reactive multilayer film in a contact area of the strip conductor, the second main surface, facing away from the first main surface, of the reactive multilayer film is placed in flat contact against the further electrical conductor element, and a permanent electrically conductive connection is formed between the first superconductive strip conductor and the further electrical conductor element by subsequently igniting an exothermic chemical reaction in the multilayer film. An electrical conductor assembly is able to be contacted using such a method.

  • Patent number: 10510484
Abstract: A method for producing an electrical coil device may include winding a strip conductor into a coil winding and subsequently dividing the coil winding into at least two partial coils by at least one cut through the coil winding, wherein the strip conductor remains connected as a doubly contiguous loop by existing remaining connections in the end regions of the strip conductor. An electric coil device is also disclosed, which includes at least two partial coils from a higher-level doubly contiguous strip conductor. The at least two partial coils may be produced by subsequent cutting of a coil winding wound by a single strip conductor.

  • Patent number: 10032549
Abstract: A superconducting coil device includes a superconducting flat conductor having one or more torsional turns. The flat conductor is wound around a winding support to define multiple turns of the conductor around the support. In at least one of the turns, the flat conductor is twisted through approximately 180 degrees about a longitudinal axis of the flat conductor, to thereby switch a contact side of the flat conductor from radially inwardly facing to radially outwardly facing, or vice versa. The contact side of the flat conductor at an inner turn faces a center of the winding and, and at an outer turn faces away from the center of the winding. The inwardly-facing contact side of the strip at an inner turn may be coupled to an inner contact element, and the outwardly-facing contact side at an outer turn may be conductively coupled to an outer contact element.

  • Patent number: 10008314
Abstract: An electric coil apparatus has at least two subcoils from a superordinate doubly connected tape conductor. The coil apparatus has at least two conductor branches, each of the subcoils being wound from one of these conductor branches respectively. The conductor branches of the superordinate tape conductor have a superordinate first surface and a superordinate second surface facing away from this first surface. In a first subcoil, the first surface of the tape conductor faces a centerpoint of the first subcoil, and in a second subcoil, the second surface of the tape conductor faces a centerpoint of the second subcoil. Furthermore, in a manufacturing method of such a coil apparatus the two conductor branches are routed parallel to each other so as to dorm the subcoils.

  • Publication number: 20170104381
Abstract: A rotary machine, e.g., a synchronous machine, may include cold superconducting windings arranged in a warm soft-magnetic rotor body. Two adjacent windings may be arranged between every two adjacent soft-magnetic pole bodies and fastened by support elements in a common pair of vacuum containers in order to achieve thermal insulation. The two windings may be isothermally interconnected at their mutually facing sides by at least one common support and/or traction element.
