Abstract: An adjustable composite device has at least two parts, an adjusting screw adjusting the parts relative to one another and also screw being axially fixed with one of the structural parts so as to be rotatable relative to the latter and threadingly connectable with another of the structural parts, an open threaded shell which is formed on the another structural part, and a U-shaped elastic holding element releasably mounted on the another structural part and having one leg engaging a portion of the another structural part and another leg engaging the adjusting screw so as to hold the adjusting screw with a part of its periphery under tensioning in abutment in the threaded shell.

Abstract: A headlamp for a power vehicle having a chassis comprises a reflector mounted on the chassis and turnable in a horizontal direction for adjusting a direction of light bundle produced by the reflector, reference markings arranged on a chassis part for marking a predetermined position of the reflector, and markings showing a position of the reflector relative to the reference markings, the markings being provided on an upper side of the headlamp in its lateral end regions, the chassis part extending at least partially through the headlamp, and the chassis part having two openings through which the markings can be observed from a side of the headlamp respectively.

Abstract: A headlamp for a power vehicle comprises a reflector mountable in a chassis and turnable for adjusting its inclination, a water level provided on the reflector for controlling its inclination, the water level having adjusting marks and being displaceable relative to the reflector for reflector specific fine adjustment, a support insertable in the reflector and receiving the water level, the water level having an outer side and provided on the outer side with a cover glass forming a part of an outwardly curved spherical surface, the water level being turnable in the support for fine adjustment about a vertical axis.

Abstract: A headlight comprises a reflector, an adjusting device for adjusting a position of the reflector relative to a vehicle chassis, the adjusting device having an actuating element connected with the reflector and a miter gearing adjusting the actuating element, the miter gearing including a driving bevel gear connected with the actuating element and an adjusting bevel gear cooperating with the driving bevel gear, a housing receiving the miter gearing, the adjusting bevel gear having an annular groove, and a movable securing element which engages in the annular groove to secure the adjusting bevel gear and is held in the housing.

Abstract: In a headlight including a housing supporting a reflector with a bulb and having an opening for handling the bulb, a hood of elastic material is provided, which closes the opening from the rear side of the housing. An annular sealing lip is provided on the hood itself which in assembly lies against the outer surface of the conical ring portion formed on the rear wall of the housing. An open hinge with bellows and a tongue, engageable with a shoulder on the rear wall of the housing, is provided at one side of the hood and a snap arrangement is provided on a diametrically opposite side of the hood to secure the hood to the housing.

Abstract: The disclosed valve has a seating gasket with a cross-sectional profile which includes an anchoring portion disposed in the bottom of the gasket groove in the fluid passageway. A seating portion of the gasket extends up from the anchoring portion and is narrower than the anchoring portion, so that the anchoring portion is exposed in the groove on both sides of the seating portion. A pair of fillets are held in the groove on both sides of the seating portion of the gasket and adjacent the anchoring portion to fix the gasket in the groove and to guide the valve disc between them. The gasket has longitudinal ribs to improve sealing and may be integral with an elongate toroid gasket for sealing against the valve disc in the neck of the valve.
