  • Patent number: 4125678
Abstract: This invention relates to radiation polymerizable compositions particularly useful in the preparation of printing inks and to a method of preparing said radiation polymerizable compositions which comprises (1) a condensation product with (2) up to about 90% by weight thereof of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer and (3) up to about 50% by weight thereof of at least one sensitizer. The condensation products are prepared by condensing at least one alkoxy-methyl amino-triazine or methylol aminotriazine with one or more polyols, e.g. raw castor oil and at least one hydroxy-alkyl acrylate. The polymerizable composition may be cured with radiation, e.g. light or electrons to obtain coatings useful for a variety of purposes.
