  • Patent number: 8172168
Abstract: A roller grinding mill is provided that includes a grinding plate, grinding rollers, and at least two drives acting upon the grinding plate, and to a method for operating such a roller grinding mill. At least one grinding roller and substantially simultaneously at least one matching drive can be disengaged during operation. Thus only small radial forces are created that effect the radial bearing of the grinding plate.

    Filed: September 20, 2010
Date of Patent: May 8, 2012
    Assignee: Gebr. Pfeiffer AG
Inventors: Dirk Hoffmann, Otto Jung, Karl-Heinz Schuette, Hardy Lessmeister, Thomas Hoster
  • Patent number: 7926754
Abstract: A drive systems for a roller mill is provided. To ensure the continuous availability of the mill, more than two drives are provided, wherein the at least two drives are capable of achieving the full grinding capacity of the roller mill.

  • Publication number: 20090314866
Abstract: A roller mill is provided that includes a housing, a grinding plate with a drive, and grinding rollers which roll down on the grinding plate, wherein rockers and rocker axes are provided for each grinding roller, as well as tensioning devices having hydraulic cylinders for pressing the grinding rollers onto the grinding plate. A swivel device having a swivel axis is provided for each grinding roller. The hydraulic cylinders are capable of swiveling the grinding rollers out of the housing. The grinding rollers are mounted next to the mill housing on consoles, and the hydraulic cylinders are located next to the consoles.

  • Publication number: 20070278333
Abstract: A method and device for producing cement is provided, whereby cement clinker and material containing sulfate and optionally, additional constituent parts are ground in a roller mill to the consistency of flour. In a separate apparatus, the sulfur-containing material is heated, dehydrated and calcined to a desired temperature, is conveyed into the roller mill immediately thereafter, where, together with the remaining constituent parts, it is ground.

  • Patent number: 5592395
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining and extending a change interval for an operating fluid of a unit, particularly for an engine of a motor vehicle, uses at least one directly or indirectly recorded operating variable which represents the qualitative condition of the operating fluid. An evaluation of the at least operating variable and a continuous calculation of the change interval therefrom is performed by a computing and control unit. The calculated change interval is related to a specified unit service interval and, if the change interval expires before the service interval, a regeneration signal for the removal of a certain quantity of the spent operating fluid and the replacement of the quantity with a fresh operating fluid is produced as a function of the difference therebetween.

  • Patent number: 3936024
Abstract: A carrying structure for supporting, for example, cable ducts, comprises vertical bearers from which project disengagable, horizontal bearer arms. Each bearer arm has at least two hooks adjacent one end thereof, which hooks, when inserted into corresponding holes of a vertical row of holes formed in a vertical bearer, engage the bearer arm with the vertical bearer. The hooks of an arm are integral therewith and project laterally of the arm surface which is in face to face relation with the hole-defining surface of the vertical bearer when the arm is engaged with the bearer. Each hook has on one of its side edges a lateral support surface above the vertical portion of the hook which engages the vertical bearer on its side opposite to the main body of the bearer arm. This support surface engages a vertical side of the hole in which the hook is inserted enabling the transmission between the bearer arm and vertical bearer of horizontal moments.
