  • Publication number: 20140199134
Abstract: The Sta-Put/Hurricane nail has longitudinal anchoring feature located at the driving point of the nail and/or along the shaft. The longitudinal anchor barbs (hook like barb) actively engage the wood (substrate) material when driven through to provide a superior mechanical bond between two or more pieces of wood material than conventional nails. The notched longitudinal anchor barb actively engages the wood (substrate) when force is applied in opposite direction of that of the driven direction. The barbs provide and maintain superior fastening properties during sustained high velocity windstorms (hurricane, tornadoes, etc.) and effectively resist the “popping out” effect of conventional nails due to weathering and aging. The “popping out” effect is when the nail fails and begins to extract itself, thus weakening and subsequently failing.

  • Publication number: 20060094536
Abstract: An attached device (Smooth Roller) (not an insert within a cutout on the face of a putter) made of lightweight soft urethane elastomer material. The attached device has two sides: a backside and a front or striking side. The backside of the device is flat and coated with an adhesive. The front or striking side is round in shape. Attachment is achieved by contacting the device flat backside surface, coated with an adhesive, with the putter's flat face striking surface. The attached device position is fixed by aligning the top of the device with the top of the putter's head providing the optimal striking relationship between Smooth Roller and golf ball. The Smooth Roller extends vertically and horizontally across the putter's face. The Smooth Roller can attach to any existing putter having a flat putter face. The front side or striking face is described. The urethane elastomer material of the Smooth Roller's striking face has a varied durometer (hardness) ranging from 15 to 80 rating.

  • Publication number: 20060080766
Abstract: When the toilet is flushed, the water fill valve is activated and water begins to flow through the intake valve seat into the tank and refill tube. The refill tube's flow is directed into the overflow/drain tube, which empties into the bowl. The water entering the tank is retained in the tank and begins to accumulate until a predetermined level is reached. When the predetermined level is attained, the water intake valve closes and all flow into both tank and refill tube stops, until the next flush cycle is invoked. The water saver adapter prevents excess water from entering the overflow/drain tube during the flush and refill cycle by diverting a significant volume of water back into the water tank.
