  • Patent number: 7356151
Abstract: A system remotely controls a microphone through a remote control unit. The remote control unit includes a frequency modulator that modulates a control signal. A cable conductor that is used to provide phantom power also conveys a frequency-modulated control signal. The frequency-modulated control signal and audio signals may be separated.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 30, 2005
Date of Patent: April 8, 2008
    Assignee: AKG Acoustic GmbH
    Inventor: Otto Seknicka
  • Patent number: 7091893
Abstract: A loudspeaker control circuit includes a bit splitter, a complement module and a digital-to-analog converter. The bit splitter divides a data item representing an acoustic signal into a high order bit group and a low order bit group. The complement module determines a complement of at least one of the high order bit group and the low order bit group. The complement module may be connected in series to the digital-to-analog converter. The digital-to-analog converter converts the high order bit group and the low order bit group from a digital format to an analog format.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 10, 2005
Date of Patent: August 15, 2006
    Assignee: AKG Acoustics GmbH
