  • Patent number: 5715591
Abstract: It is well known that induction regulators are used in transmitting signals in head drum structures in video devices or equipment for digital recording and playback of signals. Since each head on the head wheel requires its own induction regulator, or transformer for short, there can be a relatively large number of transformers. This plus the fact that head drum units are becoming increasing smaller, and transmission frequencies increasingly higher, leads to very high demands for precision on the part of the transformer. This applies both to the ferrite rings and to the coils of the transformer. A device is proposed with which coils can be produced with high precision in the inner groove of the ferrite ring.

  • Patent number: 5715458
Abstract: Data processing apparatus comprises a processor and memory. The processor has a supervisor state including a first set of supervisor service routines for controlling the operation of the data processing apparatus. The memory has a first hash table accessible by the supervisor state for pointing to the first set of supervisor service routines and a second hash table also accessible by the supervisor state for pointing to a second set of supervisor service routines. The data processing apparatus provides table indicating means for indicating whether the first hash table or the second hash table is accessible by the supervisor state. The table indicating means is provided as an index into the first hash table. When this index is accessed, further code is executed which allows access to the second hash table.

  • Patent number: 4574860
Abstract: An adjustable storm garage door having a pair of foldable doors open at the center with each pair adjustably mounted to a jamb of the garage in spaced relationship with an existing overhead garage door for providing an insulating space between the doors.

  • Patent number: 4322151
Abstract: The invention contemplates a backlash-free cam and follower mechanism characterized by application of constant backlash-relieving resilient loading regardless of change in cam slope and regardless of displaced position of cam-driven structure with respect to the total span of possible cam-driven displacement. This result is achieved by use of two cam followers, one of which is the control follower (tracking a control cam) and the other of which is an auxiliary follower (tracking an auxiliary cam), there being resilient preloading to urge both cam followers for constant tracking of their respective cams, and the two cams being so devised with respect to each other that the orientation and spacing of the cam followers with respect to each other will remain constant throughout the full range of possible cam-driven displacement.
