  • Patent number: 6947003
Abstract: A slot array antenna comprises a slot array antenna main body (111) and a dielectric cover (116). The slot array antenna main body (111) has a slot plate (113). A main beam (115) having radiation directivity, extending in a direction inclined a tilt angle ? alone from a direction normal to a plane P1 of the slot plate (113) is set to the slot array antenna main body (111). The dielectric cover (116) has an inclination angle ? formed by an outer plane P3 and an inner plane P4 and is comprised of a dielectric material having a refractive index n. The inner plane P4 of the dielectric cover (116) is provided so as to oppose to the slot plate (113) of the slot array antenna main body (111). Thus, the main beam (115) having the radiation directivity is transmitted through and refracted by the dielectric cover (116), so that the tilt angle ? is corrected to allow the main beam to extend in a direction orthogonal to the outer plane P3 of the dielectric cover (116).

  • Patent number: 6853344
Abstract: In an RLS antenna, the present invention allows adjusting the optimum positional relationship between the feeder section of the feeder disk and the feeder section of the antenna disk, simply, quickly and at high accuracy by a visual check, so that mass production becomes possible, and an increase in performance and a decrease in cost are implemented. When the diameter of the antenna disk is D and the wavelength of the central frequency is ?, a marker of about 0.10? or less is disposed in an area of 0.5 (D?4?)?0.5D distant from the center. A through hole with a size (opening area) through which the marker can be viewed is disposed at a position the same as the position of the marker on the feeder disk. By visually confirming that the marker is positioned at the center of the through hole, the antenna disk is positioned and secured on the feeder disk.

  • Patent number: 6552631
Abstract: A resonator-type SAW filter has a ladder network of SAW resonators with respective interdigital transducers and reflectors. Individual ground patterns are provided for each interdigital transducer and each reflector in the shunt-arm SAW resonators. These ground patterns are electrically isolated from one another, and are grounded through separate bonding wires or other conductors that couple the ground patterns to a ground lead. This independent grounding scheme is found to improve the attenuation characteristic of the filter on the low side of the passband.

  • Publication number: 20020101385
Abstract: A slot array antenna includes a feed waveguide plate, a radiating waveguide plate and a slot plate adhered or connected together. The feed waveguide plate is formed with a first feed port and a feed waveguide to which an electromagnetic wave is fed via the feed port. The radiating waveguide plate is formed with second feed ports communicated to the feed waveguide, and radiating waveguides communicated to the second feed ports. The slot plate is formed with slots for radiating electromagnetic waves fed via the radiating waveguides. The first feed port is positioned substantially at the center of the length of the feed waveguide. The slot array antenna allows a polarization direction of the antenna to be freely adjusted while minimizing a wasteful space otherwise allotted to peripheral circuits and is therefore miniaturized.
