An electrode assembly, an adapter, and an insulating member are also disposed in the housing. The electrode assembly includes an electrode tab, the adapter is configured to electrically connect the electrode tab and the electrode terminal, and the insulating member is configured to insulate the adapter from the housing. The battery cell, the battery, and the electric apparatus provided in this application can mitigate the thermal failure of the battery cell caused by thermal diffusion during the use of the battery cell, thereby improving the safety performance of the battery cell and the battery to which the battery cell is applied.

The battery cell of this application includes a housing, an electrode assembly, and an insulation layer. A mounting capacity is created inside the housing. The electrode assembly is disposed in the mounting cavity. The insulation layer is disposed between at least a part of the electrode assembly and the housing. In the technical solution of this application, the insulation layer is disposed between at least a part of the electrode assembly and the housing. When the housing incurs an insulation failure and generates an electrical arcing or arc, the electrical arcing or arc generated by the housing will not break down the insulation layer due to insulativity of the insulation layer, thereby protecting at least a part, disposed opposite to the insulation layer, of the electrode assembly.
