Abstract: A surface-mountable linear vibrator includes a hollow cylindrical housing of a predetermined thickness having a space therein. An elastic member is fixed to an inner surface of the housing. A vibrating body includes a yoke fixed to the elastic member to be affected by elastic force in an axial direction of the housing, a weight fixed to the yoke, and a magnet fixed to the yoke. A circular substrate member is attached to a lower part of the housing, and provided with (i) a winding coil fixed to the upper surface thereof and (ii) a connection element formed on the lower surface thereof and electrically connected to the winding coil. Power is applied to the winding coil through the connection element.
