Patent number: 9279424Abstract: The invention concerns a vane cell machine with a stator and a rotor having radially displaceable vanes arranged in guides, said vanes bearing on an inside of the stator and bordering, together with the rotor, the stator and a side wall, work chambers at each axial end of the rotor. It is endeavored to provide a vane cell machine that has a good internal tightness, in which the wear is still kept small. For this purpose, in a radially internal area the side wall comprises an insert that is axially movable in the side wall and has a pressure application surface axially inside and axially outside.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 2012Date of Patent: March 8, 2016Assignee: Danfoss A/SInventors: Hans Christian Petersen, Ove Thorboel Hansen, Lars Martensen, Palle Olsen, Erik Haugaard

Patent number: 7963209Abstract: Motor start circuit for an induction motor, particularly a single-phase AC induction motor, with a main winding (4) and an auxiliary winding (5), which are supplied with current, particularly alternating current, via current supply connections (24, 25), and with a start switching device (15) serving the purpose of interrupting the current flow through the auxiliary winding (5) after the start of the motor, the start switching device (15) being connected to a control device (20) via a connector (18), the control device (20) being connected between the current supply connections (24, 25), and with a winding protection switch (28), which is normally closed and which opens on the occurrence of a fault. The invention is characterized in that the control device (20) is connected to the winding protection switch (28) via at least one further connector (22, 17), preferably via at least one further connector (22, 17) and the auxiliary winding (5).Type: GrantFiled: December 3, 2007Date of Patent: June 21, 2011Assignee: Danfoss A/SInventors: Palle Olsen, Ove Thorboel Hansen, Lars Martensen

Patent number: 7263925Abstract: The invention concerns a hydraulic axial piston machine (1) with a cylinder body (3), at least one piston (9) to be axially displaceable in the cylinder body (3), said piston (9) resting on a swash plate (13) by way of a slide shoe (11), with a pressure plate (14) loading the slide shoe (11) in the direction of the swash plate (13), and a hold-down part (16), which bears with a contact surface (18) on a counter surface (20) of the pressure plate(14) facing away from the swash plate (13). It is endeavored to operate the machine with as little wear as possible. For this purpose, it is ensured that the contact surface (18) is formed by a circumferential surface section of a cone, whose peak (19) is directed towards the swash plate (13).Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2005Date of Patent: September 4, 2007Assignee: Danfoss A/SInventors: Ove Thorboel Hansen, Lars Martensen

Patent number: 7188562Abstract: The invention concerns a water-hydraulic machine with at least two mutually movable parts, of which one has a surface of a plastic material with friction-reducing properties. In such a machine it is desired to enable the use of demineralised water. For this purpose, it is ensured that a layer of a carbon-containing material is arranged between the plastics material and the other part.Type: GrantFiled: May 28, 2003Date of Patent: March 13, 2007Assignee: Danfoss A/SInventors: Ove Thorbøl Hansen, Palle Olsen, Lars Martensen, Erik Haugaard

Patent number: 6405634Abstract: A hydraulic axial piston machine (1) includes a cylinder drum (3) having at least one cylinder (4) in which a piston (5) is arranged to be reciprocating, an inclined swash plate (8), on which the piston (5) is supported via a slide shoe (7), a pressure plate (9) maintaining the bearing of the slide shoe (7) on the swash plate (8), and a spring arrangement (10) by means of which the pressure plate (9) is pressed against the swash plate (8) via the cylinder drum (3). In the past, the pressure plate has been supported on the cylinder drum (3) via a ball joint, with the spring arrangement and a driving shaft for the cylinder drum penetrating the cylinder drum. The ball joint is expensive and exposed to wear. According to the invention, the spring arrangement (10) bears immediately on the pressure plate (9). Thus, a ball joint and the wear of it will be avoided.Type: GrantFiled: October 27, 2000Date of Patent: June 18, 2002Assignee: Danfoss A/SInventor: Ove Thorbøl Hansen
