    Abstract: A radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag for semi-permanent insertion into a gap in a storage grid includes an RFID antenna; a storage medium configured to store identification data, the storage medium being connected to the RFID antenna; and a case configured to house the RFID antenna and the storage medium. The case includes: an internal surface configured to support one or both of the RFID antenna and the storage medium; one or more feet configured to limit insertion of the case into the gap in the storage grid; and one or more protrusions configured to provide resistance to case movement relative the gap.
