Abstract: Improvements in computer-based energy asset management technologies are provided. An energy asset management system with a data summarization mechanism can perform computations, for example relating to controlling the assets, which may include electric vehicles (EVs), with fewer computing resources. Further, the system can perform computations on large datasets where such computations would have otherwise been impractical with conventional systems due to the size of the data. A large dataset relating to the energy asset management system is reduced using the summarization mechanism, and a computation model is trained using the reduced dataset. Energy assets in the system may be controlled using the trained computational model. Assets may include EVs, and controlling the EVs may be based on generated predictions relating to charging interactions. The predictions may be based on road traffic information and/or weather related information.

The neck of the funnel is threaded externally while the weight is threaded internally (in the void) so that the threads engage each other, securing the weight in place. Other embodiments allow for alternate methods of securing the weight.

Abstract: A system for the disposal of spent automobile fluids, the system including a funnel and a receiving container. The funnel is divided into a funnel body and downspout. The funnel parts are stored in recesses on the surface of the receiving container. The receiving container is configured to receive the spent automobile fluid. The downspout may consist of one or two pieces, the pieces may be coupled to the funnel body, the fillspout, or each other in a number of ways.

The spring activated plate is activateable by a door closing obstacle for automatically moving the door lock between an inactive position and an active position. In the inactive position, the door lock is recessed within the housing, while in the active position, the door lock projects from the housing to prevent closure of the door.

Abstract: Overlay and underlay carriers are used to transmit traffic over a cellular network for a call associated with a mobile terminal. A method involves determining which one of the underlay carrier and the overlay carrier is to carry the traffic as a function of a resource parameter associated with a resource for transmitting the traffic and a mobility parameter of the mobile terminal. In some implementations, the method is applied at for example a base station to a plurality of calls associated with various mobile terminals within a cell and the calls are assigned to the underlay carrier and the overlay carrier using an optimization routine that optimizes a function associated with the capacity while imposing a constraint such as for example a constraint on a hand-off rate between the carriers.
