    Abstract: A support system for a marine turbine power plant may include an integral condenser. The support system comprised of plate girders and welded plate steel cover may envelop the condenser within the structure in order to save weight in the ship's payload. Certain modifications have to be made to adapt the support to include an integral condenser including the ability of the base to accommodate thermal expansion, noise isolation, structural centering of the condenser and steam flow through the turbine support members.
