  • Patent number: 10047605
Abstract: It is described a method and a system for wireless in-situ sampling of a reservoir fluid from a hydrocarbon reservoir comprising obtaining a number of local samples of the reservoir fluid from different zones of the reservoir at given times. Local characterization of production fluid is obtained based on identifying chemical fingerprints of each of the number of local samples. This information can be used to determine local production rates from different zones in the well or from coming led wells.

  • Publication number: 20180174068
Abstract: A subject-specific simulation model of at least one component in the cardiovascular system for simulating blood flow and/or structural features. This simulation model can be used as a tool for cardiovascular diagnostic and/or treatment planning. The invention also regards non-invasive medical imaging of the cardiovascular system. The simulation model of a component in the cardiovascular system, for instance a pumping heart, is reconstructed by combining computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and/or fluid structure interaction (FSI) algorithms with medical imaging, such as for example ultrasound, MRI or CT. Such models make it possible to describe the complex flow phenomenon and provide flow details. The subject-specific model is a tool for clinical decision-making, an objective support for health care professionals in making decisions prior to surgery.

  • Publication number: 20150268079
Abstract: The invention concerns a tracer particle for monitoring processes in a system, where the system comprising a fluid with at least one fluid phase. The tracer particle comprises an integrated circuit (IC) providing a unique identification of the tracer particle, wherein the integrated circuit is enclosed/embedded in a coating/shell providing specific properties to said tracer particle in relation to at least one of i)said fluid; ii)ambient conditions in said system; and iii) detectability of the tracer particle. Methods for monitoring processes in a system by using the tracer particle is also disclosed, along with uses of the tracer particles.

  • Patent number: 9079377
Abstract: The invention relates to a structural member comprising a first and a second board member that are arranged in parallel to each other, and a filler element arranged between the first board member and the second board member. The filler element is a continuous sheet with a sheet plane that is substantially parallel to the first and second board member, and is moulded or vacuum-moulded so that cone-shaped cavity structures project outward from the sheet plane. The cone-shaped cavity structures are provided as truncated cones having a top and bottom, both having a substantially circular shape. One side of the sheet plane has a continuous, flat surface and the cone-shaped cavity structures project outward on the other side of the sheet plane. The cone-shaped cavity structures have a cone angle of approx. 5-45°.

  • Publication number: 20100145115
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for treatment of a flow of fluid hydrocarbons containing water. The flow of hydrocarbons is introduced into a mixer (7) where it is mixed with liquid carbon dioxide (6) before the resulting mixture is cooled in a cooler (8) and conveyed to a reactor (9), in which all water present in the hydrocarbon flow will be in the form of hydrates, and said flow is conveyed to a pipeline (11) to be transported to its destination. The cooling system may comprise a choke or a mixer where the warm hydrocarbon flow is mixed with a cold flow of hydrocarbons.
