  • Publication number: 20240081554
Abstract: A frame for a refrigerated enclosure including a main frame member, a backing member, and a contact plate. The main frame member includes a base, a middle wall, and a forward flange. The backing member and the contact plate are coupled to the main frame member. The backing member includes a rear leg that couples on the rear wall of the base of the main frame member and an interior leg that couples on the interior wall of the base of the main frame member. The interior leg and the rear leg each include a thermal insulating portion. The interior leg includes a front portion that couples with the contact plate. The thermally insulating portions of the interior leg and the rear leg can be integral to one another and form an L-shape.

  • Publication number: 20240011653
Abstract: An air filtration apparatus includes a motor, a fan blade, an air filter, a housing, a filter cleaning assembly, and a control panel. A stator of the motor is concentrically mounted within the housing, and the fan blade is concentrically mounted to a rotor of the motor so that the air can be moved via the fan blade. The air filter is externally mounted to a rear panel of the housing to purify incoming air. The filter cleaning assembly is integrated to the air filter and is in fluid communication with the air filter so that the air filter can be cleaned when necessary. The control panel being electrically connected to the motor and the filter cleaning assembly to continuously operates the air filtration apparatus.

  • Patent number: 11732518
Abstract: A refrigerator door assembly includes a refrigerator door that has a recess and an alignment mechanism that includes a door hinge. A plate is fixedly attached to the door hinge and positioned at least partially within the recess of the refrigerator door. The plate includes an orienting member configured to extend along an axis of rotation of the door hinge and away from a body of the plate. The refrigerator door is movably positionable between at least a first position and a second position relative to the plate to permit adjustment of a location of the refrigerator door relative to the door hinge. • Patent number: 9759627
Abstract: Pressure transmitters mounted on a panel are arranged so as to ease and facilitate their calibration. More particularly, curved tubing portions are interposed between the drain/vent valves and transmitter bases of the pressure transmitters so as to cause the drain/vent valves to face outwardly from the panel in the same direction that pressure valves on the transmitter base face. Common fluid lines together with a pressurization valve are provided to simultaneously pressurize multiple pressure transmitters to further ease the calibration process.

  • Patent number: 8655656
Abstract: A method for assessing intelligibility of speech represented by a speech signal includes providing a speech signal and performing a feature extraction on at least one frame of the speech signal so as to obtain a feature vector for each of the at least one frame of the speech signal. The feature vector is input to a statistical machine learning model so as to obtain an estimated posterior probability of phonemes in the at least one frame as an output including a vector of phoneme posterior probabilities of different phonemes for each of the at least one frame of the speech signal. An entropy estimation is performed on the vector of phoneme posterior probabilities of the at least one frame of the speech signal so as to evaluate intelligibility of the at least one frame of the speech signal. An intelligibility measure is output for the at least one frame of the speech signal.

  • Patent number: 7255816
Abstract: A method of recycling bonded fibrous materials, the method includes the steps of: providing pieces of bonded fibrous materials, the pieces having sizes that are adapted for suspension in a liquid; suspending the discrete pieces of bonded fibrous materials in a liquid; applying mechanical work to the liquid suspension of discrete pieces to generate hydraulic pressure and mechanical shear stress conditions sufficient to hydraulically fragment the bonded fibrous materials into fibers and fiber-like components; and separating substantially individual fibers and fiber-like components from the liquid. The method is used to produce recycled synthetic fibers and fiber-like materials that have at least one thread element composed of synthetic material having at least one irregular distortion generated by hydraulic fracture of the thread element to separate it from a bonded fibrous material while the bonded fibrous material is suspended in a liquid.

  • Publication number: 20030171056
Abstract: A hydraulically entangled nonwoven fabric that includes recycled synthetic fibers and fiber-like materials having at least one thread element composed of synthetic material with at least one irregular distortion generated by hydraulic fracture of the thread element to separate it from a bonded fibrous material while the bonded fibrous material is suspended in a liquid. This material may be used as a wiper or an absorbent material. A method of forming the material includes the steps of: (a) providing a layer of recycled synthetic fibers and fiber-like materials having at least one thread element composed of synthetic material containing at least one irregular distortion generated by hydraulic fracture of the thread element to separate it from a bonded fibrous material while the bonded fibrous material is suspended in a liquid; (b) hydraulically entangling the layer to form a nonwoven web; and (c) drying the web.
