    Abstract: Re-calibration of an OLED display of a personal device, such as a mobile phone or a laptop computer, is achieved by an optical sensing arrangement that is temporarily or permanently joined to the personal device. The sensing arrangement can comprise a connector for charging a battery of the portable device and/or a small digital camera or photocell. The re-calibration corrects for uneven aging of the OLED pixels and can occur automatically during battery re-charging.
