  • Patent number: 11934410
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for planning recurring events is provided. Event objects for events are stored in a database. A trigger notifying the beginning of an event is received and an event object representing the event is generated in response to the trigger. An event class is associated with a set of parameters and is assigned to the event object. A set of activity data is created for the event object and each activity data includes structured and unstructured data describing an event activity occurred during the event. At least one event object is retrieved from the database as a model and the parameter values of the model event object are displayed. At least one of the parameter values of the model event object is modified and the modification is reflected against other parameter values of the model event object that are dependent on the modified parameter value.

  • Patent number: 11174911
Abstract: The present invention belongs to the technical fields of novel structure design and lattice material design, and refers to structures, lattice materials, and lattice cylindrical shells with simultaneous stretch- and compression-expanding property. First, use the local tension-compression asymmetry in the tension modulus and compression modulus generated by the contact nonlinearity of the tension springs to construct a type of 2D structures and lattice materials with stretch- and compression-expanding property. Then by assembling the 2D structures in different directions, 3D structures and lattice materials can be constructed. Meanwhile, a lattice cylindrical shell can also be constructed by using the 2D stretch- and compression-expanding structures as the unit cell.

  • Patent number: 11120375
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring parking enforcement officer performance with the aid of a digital computer is provided. A time-based active representational model of the city is created by fusing sensory data collected from various sources around a city with numerical data gleaned from historical and on-going activities, including parking regulation citation and warning numbers, resource allocations, and so on. The model can be used to form quantitative predictions of expected violations, revenue stream, and so forth, that can then be used as recommendations as to where to enforce and when, so as to maximize the utilization of the limited resources represented by the officers on the street. Moreover, the performance of the officers can be weighed against expectations of performance postulated from the quantitative predictions.

  • Publication number: 20210073428
Abstract: A structure topology optimization method based on material-field reduced series expansion is disclosed. A bounded material field that takes correlation into consideration is defined, the bounded material field is transmitted into a linear combination of a series of undetermined coefficients using a spectral decomposition method, these undetermined coefficients are used as design variables, an optimization model is built based on an element density interpolation model, the topology optimization problem is solved using a gradient-based or gradient-free algorithm, and then a topology configuration with clear boundaries is obtained efficiently. The method can substantially reduce the number of design variables in density method-based topology optimization, and has the natural advantage of completely avoiding the problems of mesh dependency and checkerboard patterns.

  • Publication number: 20180322173
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for performing trend analysis is provided. Event objects for events are stored in a database. A trigger for notifying a beginning of an event is received and an event object representing the event is generated. An event class is associated with a set of parameters and is assigned to the event object. A set of activity data for the event object is created. A time period for trend analysis and previous time periods are defined. Trends among the event objects during the trend analysis time period and among the event objects for the previous time periods are defined. The trends of the event objects of the trend analysis period are compared with the trends of the event objects for the previous time periods and significant trend changes between the compared trends are identified. A trend object is generated for each significant trend change.

  • Patent number: 10013459
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for integrating user observations into operational data is provided. A database maintains notes each having received from a user and comprising a subjective observation. Operational data including workflow data of an objective nature is defined. Each of the notes is associated with one or more tags. The note associated with the tags is further maintained in the database. Criteria for retrieving the note are defined for the workflow data and forming a query for each of the workflow data. The query to select the note associated with the tags is executed for the workflow data based on the criteria and the selected note is integrated into the workflow data. The workflow data with the integrated note is displayed on a display.
