    Abstract: A plurality of food serving dishes constructed from a high temperature ceramic material and dimensioned so that when inverted they can engage the rim of the standard size sauce pan and substitute as a lid or cover for those sauce pans so that the heat dissipated in the form of steam during the cooking process can be employed to preheat the serving dishes which when reinverted contain and keep warm foodstuffs when employed in conjunction with the accompanying lids.
