  • Publication number: 20110239375
Abstract: A bit structure for powered tools includes a shank action end at one end of a bit and a tool gripping section at another end. The shank action end has a conical directing portion formed by extending rearwards from a front edge of the shank action end. The directing portion is extended rearwards to form an expansion bore cutting section between the shank action end and the tool gripping section. The expansion bore cutting section has at one axial cutting edge formed at a length equal to or greater than the maximum diameter of the directing portion. The bit structure thus formed can simultaneously perform multiple functions of drilling holes, expanding holes and fastening screws faster with less time and effort.

  • Publication number: 20080226420
Abstract: An adjusting screw for door frames and window casings that is easy to fabricate and assemble includes a screw running through a screw sleeve. The screw sleeve has a longitudinal slit so that when a latch flange formed at a rear section of the screw passes through a first step orifice of the screw sleeve the first step orifice is expanded to a larger diameter due to elastic deformation so that the latch flange can pass through and be retained at a front orifice edge of the first step orifice. And the screw has a head end flange at the rear section to be retained at a rear orifice edge of the first step orifice. By means of such a structure fabrication is easier and assembly is faster.

  • Publication number: 20070264099
Abstract: An expansion screw has at least three folding sections to provide a bracing effect. It includes an anchor nail and a bolt. The anchor nail has a tubular body formed by rolling a plate and an action zone in the middle portion. The action zone has a plurality of longitudinal slots and a plurality of strips. Each strip has a first section, a second section and a third section. After the expansion screw receives an action of a tensile force tool, the second section, due to having a upper end and a lower end that are weaker, can channel and concentrate stress to generate a bending and drive the first and third sections to bend in desired directions. Thereby the second section is folded over the first section and the third section presses the first section to form a bracing effect. The folding and bracing of the material can prevent defective construction and damage caused by excessive compression on the rim of the construction hole.

  • Publication number: 20070217888
Abstract: A double-shank shooting nail includes a master nail and a sub-nail on the master nail to enhance fastening. The master nail has a master shank with an action portion. The action portion has at least one jutting flange. The flange has at least one notch formed on a corresponding longitudinal location to become a sub-nail holding trough to hold at least one sub-nail. The sub-nail has a coupling portion on the top end to be coupled on the surface of the master shank and a sloped surface on the tip, and at least one notch on the outer surface thereof. When the master shank is nailed into a metal board, the metal board is wedged between two neighboring flanges, and the sub-nail is bent and inserted into a spacer. The sub-nail may be hardened by a hardening process in advance so that the master nail and the sub-nail can penetrate through the metal board to enhance fastening without loosening.

  • Patent number: 6918727
Abstract: An anchoring screw with triple threads of different depths of thread especially useful for coupling with a construction hole on a cement wall (or other construction boards and panels) includes a first bolt section, a tool driven section and a second bolt section. The second bolt section has a first screw thread, a second screw thread and a third screw thread of different depths of thread formed on the outer surface that are spaced from one another at 120 degrees. Thus, the screw threads can gather extruded cement debris when the screw is fastened into the construction hole to produce a stronger fastening effect. As there is no expansion incurred, the wall or board does not crack. Therefore, the interval between the construction holes may be shortened, and the number of construction holes may be increased in a given unit area. The anchoring screw of the invention also may be removed easily and conveniently to facilitate construction.

  • Patent number: 6719509
Abstract: An improved expansion screw and particularly an expansion screw for securely anchoring on various types of solid walls and hollow walls mainly includes a bolt and a nail tube. The nail tube has a front end fastened to a nut, a middle portion formed at least one expansion section which has carved slots formed thereon in an annular manner, and at least one -shaped slot formed annularly between the nut and the expansion section. Each -shaped slot has an expansion flap located therein. Every two neighboring -shaped slots are bridged by a longitudinal connection strip to form a bend section. When the bolt nut at the front end of the bolt is turned and driven to generate an inward compression, the expansion flap is forced to extend outwards and overlap with the annular ring at the front end of the nail tube, and the longitudinal connection strip is bent outwards on the bend section to form a double compression on the inner side of a construction hole in a wall to form a secured coupling.

  • Publication number: 20030206787
Abstract: An anchoring screw with double heads and triple threads of different depths of thread mainly includes a polygonal flange (or a polygonal sunken cavity) formed on the screw for fastening use. The screw has an upper section and a lower section forming respectively two bolts which have different screw thread specifications. One of the bolts has at least triple threads equally spaced from one another. The triple threads have different depths of thread. Thus the bolt of triple threads can provide an effective balance function when fastened into a construction hole to maintain a firm fastening without skewing. The screw threads of different depths of thread can also gather extruded cement debris when the screw is fastened into the construction hole to produce a stronger fastening effect. As there is no expansion incurred, the wall or board does not crack. Therefore the interval between the construction holes may be shortened, and number of construction holes may be effectively increased in a given unit area.
