  • Patent number: 11977561
Abstract: A method including obtaining image data and attribute information of a first item in an item catalog. The method also can include generating candidate variant items from the item catalog for the first item using a combination of (a) a k-nearest neighbors approach to search for first candidate variant items based on text embeddings for the attribute information of the first item, and (b) an elastic search approach to search for second candidate variant items based on image embeddings for the image data of the first item. The method additionally can include performing respective classifications based on respective pairs comprising the first item and each of the candidate variant items to filter the candidate variant items. The method further can include determining a respective distance between the first item and each of the candidate variant items, as filtered.

  • Publication number: 20060001643
Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes an integrated circuit, a signal line, an inspection line and a signal generator. The integrated circuit drives a liquid crystal display panel. The signal line applies a driving signal to the integrated circuit. The inspection line detects the driving signal inputted to the integrated circuit. The signal generator supplies a compensation signal corresponding to the detected driving signal from the inspection line.

  • Publication number: 20050210515
Abstract: Disclosed are a server system for performing moving picture data communication with a client device over a wireless network, and an operating method thereof. A server device compresses the moving picture data received from an external medium at a variably controlled compression rate according to transmission bandwidth of the current wireless network and an image quality level set by a user in response to a request of the client device. Moreover, the server device transmits the compressed moving picture data to the client device in a wireless fashion. Therefore, transmission delay and playback delay can be avoided and data loss is avoided during a data transmission operation, such that stable data communication can be performed.

  • Publication number: 20050188096
Abstract: A media streaming home network system including at least one media client, which requests for a media streaming service through the Internet under a dynamic or static Internet Protocol (IP) environment, a media server, which detects network address information from the media client or a gateway connected to the media client, performs an access authentication process for the media client, and provides the media streaming service requested by the media client when the media client is authenticated, and a control server, which relays control messages transmitted between the media client and the media server, and provides the network address information of the media client to the media server.

  • Publication number: 20050172009
Abstract: Disclosed is a server system for performing communication over a wireless network that can avoid data transmission delay due to the variation of a wireless network state and can carry out a real-time transmission operation. A network renderer provided in a server device includes a separate ring buffer so that it can be functionally separated from an encoder. Alternatively, the network renderer includes a thread transmission module for discarding part of data according to the network state and carrying out a thread transmission operation. Therefore, the server system avoids transmission delay due to the variation of a wireless network environment or data loss/error due to encoding delay caused by data congestion in the encoder. Moreover, the server system can perform stable wireless communication, thereby enabling a client device to reproduce real-time data.

  • Publication number: 20050125713
Abstract: Disclosed are a server system for performing communication over a wireless network and a communication method thereof. The server system comprises at least one client device and a server device for performing a state monitoring operation or a control operation for the client device over the wireless network. When a data packet is sent, the server device begins to send a following packet by variably applying a transmission rate according to a network transmission state when a leading packet has been completely transmitted. Because a transmission rate can be set appropriately to the network state, the number of unnecessary retransmissions can be reduced. Therefore, transmission delay can be avoided and stable and rapid wireless communication can be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20050080929
Abstract: Disclosed is a server system for performing communication over a wireless network. At least one client device transmits and receives data over the wireless network. A server device performs a state monitoring or controlling operation for the at least one client device. In the server device, an encoder compresses and encodes data to be transmitted that includes a double buffer storing the encoded data. A network renderer transmits the data encoded by the encoder to a corresponding client device over the wireless network. A buffer manager detects an overflow of the buffer storing the data encoded by the encoder and issues a control signal for pausing an encoding operation when the overflow is detected. Therefore, the server system can avoid data loss and system shutdown caused by transmission delay and can ensure stability of the server system performing communication with a wireless network.
