Abstract: Disclosed herein are antimicrobial compositions, kits, and articles of manufacture. Further disclosed herein are methods for treating surfaces, including tissue, inter alia, wounds, with the disclosed compositions.

Abstract: System and method for display of ink representing a sequence of one or more handwirtten and hand printed (“hand entered”) alphanumeric characters on a portion of a touch screen that receives and displays hand entered characters. When a character (or word) is hand entered using a stylus with a single stroke, ink for the corresponding character is optionally displayed for a first time interval before conversion and re-display of the character as standard text. When a multi-stroke character (or word), such as “t” or “x” or “4”, is hand entered, a time interval for display of the hand entered version is extended so that the user can supply the additional strokes needed to complete the character, before the character is converted and re-displayed as standard text. Hand printed characters and cursive characters are processed in a similar manner. Overwriting an earlier-entered character with a later (unrelated) character causes the earlier-entered character to be promptly removed from the screen.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for automatically planning motions of robot manipulators. The invention rapidly finds a collision-free path in a cluttered robot environment, if one exists, from any starting configuration of the robot manipulator to any ending configuration. The time to solution of a motion planning problem is not uniform, but proportional to the complexity of the problem.

Abstract: A casting net is disclosed constructed of a circular net with a ring-shaped element fitted in its center. The circumference is fitted with a bottom rope holding weight elements, weight blocks or chain-weight chains. The cast-net hanging from its central ring-shaped element drops to form a conical cast-net when retrieved. During casting, the integral net element spreads to become a planar net shape which differs from that of the traditional cylindrical cast-net. This invention reduces seam stitching and makes it easier to spread for maximum effect. Moreover, the central ring-shaped element, i.e. the lower and the upper retaining ring elements, can be easily fitted to the meshes in the center of the cast-net in a secure simplified manner.
