Publication number: 20240381988Abstract: A suitcase for travel that can be separated into two stackable compartments. To allow for the top compartment to be stacked into the bottom compartment, its wheels are detachable and its support pegs are housed in a recess and are retractable. Each compartment may be packed and unpacked by different person at the same time in two different locations. One or both the compartments have inflatable air packs that can be inflated from outside the luggage using a standard air pump. The air packs secure content from moving during travel and handling. Each compartment has a separator that can fully enclose the contents of the compartment when zipped. The separator is extendable both inward and outward to accommodate larger objects or to accommodate more contents at the expense of the space in the other compartment. The separators of both the compartments may be extended inward to create a large cavity within the luggage to accommodate large objects or create a further separated space.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 1, 2023Publication date: November 21, 2024Inventor: Pankaj Kumar Maskara

Publication number: 20240314049Abstract: The embodiments of present disclosure herein address the need of minimizing web services relocation and user centers reallocation to comply with data residency regulations and change in latency threshold for web services based on user demands. The method and system provide a framework that assists enterprises in migrating web services and user center allocation to different data centers with lower additional operational cost from its current configurations and minimal changes (migrations). In case of change in data regulations and invocation frequency from users demand, non-compliant users are allocated to compliant data centers with minimal changes in the original configuration. Though the key decision is to serve the customers effectively, web services need to be deployed across a finite number of servers, there are multiple sub-problems such as minimizing latency and reduction in operational cost that needs to be addressed.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 16, 2024Publication date: September 19, 2024Applicant: Tata Consultancy Services LimitedInventors: PANKAJ KUMAR SAHU, SUTAPA MONDAL, MANGESH SHARAD GHAROTE, SACHIN PREMSUKH LODHA, RISHABH KUMAR, SHUBHRO SHOVAN ROY

Patent number: 12045369Abstract: Existing data residency compliance techniques suffer from inherent drawbacks to discover the spread of data, understanding the data residency regulations and semantics behind them and most importantly placement of data in cloud datacenters such that it is data residency compliant. Embodiments herein provide a method and system for optimizing placement of data to a cloud datacenter complying data residency regulations. The system selects one serving cloud datacenter for a user center. The selection considers three conflicting objectives such as minimum data placement cost, provide good quality of service (i.e. latency) and to comply with data residency regulations. The system essentially covers data residency compliance problem in three phases namely, violation detection, decision support and recommendation. Herein, the system trades-offs latency with data placement cost.Type: GrantFiled: May 26, 2022Date of Patent: July 23, 2024Assignee: TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES LIMITEDInventors: Sutapa Mondal, Shubhro Roy, Pankaj Kumar Sahu, Arun Ramamurthy, Mangesh Sharad Gharote, Sachin Premsukh Lodha

Publication number: 20240231975Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for synchronizing data in a source system to an application without relying on middleware. An embodiment operates by performing an initial load of records for an object for an application from a source system, thereby retrieving a first set of records. The embodiment first maps the first set of records to the object using a transform template. The embodiment creates the object in the application using the first set of records based on the first mapping. The embodiment performs a delta load of records for the object from the source system, thereby retrieving a second set of records. The embodiment second maps the second set of records to the object using the transform template. The embodiment then updates the object using the second set of records based on the second mapping.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 20, 2024Publication date: July 11, 2024Inventors: Mohit V. Patent number: 12026175Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described for automated latency-aware purging of database records. A server determines a synchronization latency between a storage database and an online transaction processing (OLTP) database. When the synchronization latency is below a predetermined threshold, the server identifies a first database object in the OLTP database and selects database records to be purged from the first database object based upon a data purge instruction set. The server identifies a second database object in the storage database that corresponds to the first database object and selects database records in the second database object based upon the data purge instruction set. The server purges the database records from the first database object in the OLTP database when a characteristic of the database records to be purged from the first database object matches a characteristic of the database records selected in the second database object.Type: GrantFiled: December 22, 2022Date of Patent: July 2, 2024Assignee: FMR LLCInventors: Pankaj Kumar Singh, Kinjal Desai, Midhun Gandhi Thiagarajan
