Abstract: A CMOS light-to-current sensor built on silicon substrate is disclosed in this invention. This light-to-current sensor includes a photo-diode and two MOS transistors. The first MOS transistor is connected as the load transistor for the photo-generated current from the photo-diode, and the second MOS transistor is connected as the current-mirror transistor for the first transistor to output a current linearly proportional to the photo-generated current to the external resistor connected to the sensor.

Abstract: An audio wireless transmission and receiving and amplifying system which includes an audio wireless transmission device and an audio receiving and amplifying device is provided. The audio wireless transmission device aims to encode an analog audio signal to conform to Bluetooth wireless transmission standard for transmission. The audio receiving and amplifying device receives the audio signal conformed to the Bluetooth wireless transmission standard; the audio signal passes through an analog/digital power amplifier and is output. The provided system may be equipped with many different types of multimedia players to receive, record and broadcast multimedia audio signals in a wireless fashion.

Abstract: The invention provides a chemical mechanical abrasive slurry for use in semiconductor processing. The slurry comprises composite abrasive particles consisting of substrate particles coated with alumina. The invention further relates to a chemical mechanical polishing method of using said slurry in polishing the surfaces of semiconductor wafers.

Abstract: A keyboard cover has a rectangular transparent film made of a soft material and having an upper side, a bottom side, two long sides and two short sides. Two first reinforcing strips are formed at the bottom side and respectively at the two long sides of the film. Two second reinforcing strips are formed at the bottom side and respectively at the two short sides of the film. Two elastic strips are respectively formed beneath the first reinforcing strips. Each of the elastic strips has two ends respectively bent upwards and inwards and fastened at the corresponding corners of the film. Abstract: The invention provides a chemical-mechanical polishing process for polishing the surface of a semiconductor wafer, which comprises the steps of separately preparing a chemical agent and an abrasive agent, combining them into an abrasive slurry at the beginning of the polishing procedure or at the platen end, and polishing the metal layer on the surface of the semiconductor wafer with said admixed abrasive slurry. The invention further provides a chemical-mechanical polishing slurry for polishing the surface of a semiconductor wafer, characterized by being prepared by the steps of separately preparing a chemical agent and an abrasive agent and then combining them at the beginning of the polishing procedure or at the platen end, wherein said chemical agent comprises an aqueous medium, a corrosion inhibitor, and an ionic surfactant, and said abrasive agent comprises abrasive particles and deionized water.

The central portion has a square cross-section, and the two side enclosure portions and the two outer enclosure portions are wound around the four sides of the central portion in a staggered manner. Thus, the bat structure can provide a shock-absorbing effect to prevent the bat structure from being broken due to a larger shock, thereby increasing the lifetime of the bat structure. A processing unit is operable in a normal operating mode, where the processing unit controls the motor for moving a free end of the shielding member between predetermined extended and retracted positions based on extended and retracted position information stored in a memory. When supply of electric power to the apparatus is interrupted, the processing unit determines current position information from motor rotation signals provided by a sensor unit such that the processing unit is able to automatically control the motor for moving the free end of the shielding member when supply of the electric power to the apparatus is resumed.

Abstract: An aquarium pumping system includes: a container having a pump installed in the container and having sand filled in the container, a discharge tube connected between the container and an aquarium for delivering water into the aquarium, a suction tube connected between an aquarium and a suction port of the pump with the suction tube having an inlet aperture formed in the suction tube and constantly submerged in the container under a water level within the container to obtain an enough net positive suction head (NPSH) of the pump, and a gas tube connected to the container for supplying carbon dioxide gas into the container to react with calcium carbonate in the sand to form calcium ions which will be dissociated into the water delivered into the aquarium for raising fish, coral or other animals in the aquarium.

Abstract: A disposable 2-step safety lighter includes a fuel lever and spark wheel installed in different positions and completely separate. The working direction of both devices are different, with the fuel lever being pivotally mounted about a horizontal axis and the spark wheel being rotatably mounted about a vertical axis. Abstract: A concrete pile is formed by forming a hole in the ground with an auger and introducing concrete material into the ground through the hollow stem of the auger, the concrete being forceably ejected from the hollow stem of the auger by compressed air supplied to a nozzle within the hollow stem of the auger adjacent the open end thereof. The auger is gradually withdrawn from the hole as the hole is filled with concrete. The auger is made of inter-connected auger sections, the sections being connected by couplers which provide channels for the flow of concrete and for the flow of compressed air. The auger bit is provided with an appropriate nozzle for the ejection of the compressed air.
